Beautiful camping site with extraordinary bad service. Facilities were clean, but very few as compared to the overcrowded site.

The service at the reception is extremely slow and everything has to be as the owner wants to have it. If the owner likes your face, you\'ll maybe have a perfect stay. If not, he\'ll be really rude and respectless to you. Also I disliked the way he spoke about guest from Eastern Europe.

If the owner would be nicer, or at least would employ some friendly personell, I would definetely come back. But with this guy and the way he treats his guests, I will avoid this place in future.

Kein Restaurant. Macht nix, koche eh lieber selbst.

The camping is owned by a control freek. A lot of rules and the sanitair is cleaned by a girl who doesn\'t like to do it. It\'s not really clean. The lake ia beautifull!

Dirty and overcrowded expensive campsite. We estimated the population around 450 and only 3 showers and 4 toilets (cleaned only once a day). Garbagecontainers filled to the top and during our stay never emptied, so all the garbage was piled up against them. We had to pay 30€ for a very small 2-persons tent, a car (which you cannot park in the small and overcrowded parking lot) and 2 people. Add to that the TVA, tourist tax (5€ extra per person per night). 40€/day for pitching a tent? This made this dirty campsite twice as expensive as other (better) campsites in Austria. Unfriendly owner, big slow chubby guy with long grey hair and a beard. He argues with his guests and even yells and shouts at them. We saw him scolding at people multiple times. Be smart and leave. If you want to see Hallstatt and the surrounding area, you are better off at another campsite.
