We zijn hier vele jaren op vakantie geweest. Het is een heerlijke camping waar je echt gastvrij wordt ontvangen. Zelfs de oudere jeugd heeft zich er nooit verveeld. Het is echt een aanrader!

Een fijne, rustige camping op loopafstand van de Millstattersee waar vele soorten van watersport worden aangeboden. De vriendelijkheid en de spontaniteit van het personeel is grandioos. Voor een goede en betaalbare maaltijd kun je terecht in het campingrestaurant. De omgeving biedt vele mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes en wandelingen in Karintische bergen.

Op de campig kan je een Karintiëkaart aanschaffen. Deze geeft vele financiële voordelen, die zichzelf in een paar dagen hebben terugverdiend. De ruime staanplaatsen zijn voorzien van electra, water, afwatering en kabel TV. De camping heeft een rijke plantenbegroeìng en biedt voldoende schaduw van de bomen. Van het zwembad, welke van ondiep tot diep afloopt, kan vrij gebruik gemaakt worden. Het water is constant van een heerlijke temperatuur. Gedurende het seizoen wordt er iedere dag iets georganiseerd, zowel op de camping als daar buiten.

Dit jaar waren wij voor de derde keer te gast geweest bij de familie Mössler en hun team. En dit was zeker niet de laatste keer. Frau Mössler maakt er een goede gewoonte van haar gasten met naam en toenaam aan te spreken; ook na een jaar kent ze je nog. Op deze camping wordt de slogan "Urlaub bei Freunde" dagelijks in praktijk gebracht. Een Kärnten Card verdient zichzelf binnen de kortste keren terug, zeker als je er wat op uit wilt trekken om wat te zien en te beleven.

Positieve ervaringen: een vriendelijk team, ietwat gedateerd maar prima en kraakhelder sanitair, fijne douches (zelf te regelen zonder gedoe met muntjes) en een betaalbaar restaurant. Bovendien een leuk zwembad, een uitstekende ligging, een keurig bijgehouden terrein en sinds dit seizoen WIFI op de campingplaats.

Als ik dan toch iets minder positiefs moet vermelden: de plaatsen zijn niet overdreven groot. Het is echter goed te doen, want de auto staat op de parkeerstrook. Voor de iets oudere jeugd is er weinig te doen, maar in de weide omgeving weer wel.
