Een eenvoudige camping met een rommelige aanblik. De plaatsen zijn niet vlak. De eigenaren zijn wel vriendelijk, maar er is weinig organisatie. De toiletruimte is in het grote huis gevestigd en is verouderd.

Een aardige camping op de grens van Oost- en Zuid-Tirol (Italië) met prima mogelijkheden voor excursies in de omgeving. De Ost Tirol Card voor een week is een echte aanrader.

Wij zijn zeer tevreden over de camping. Wij hadden een grote plaats gevraagd en hebben die ook gekregen. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Het sanitair perfect in orde. Zeer mooie omgeving, hebben zeer mooie wandelingen gemaakt met onze honden. Die waren ook zeer welkom op de camping. Er was ook in de buurt genoeg zwemgelegenheid voor de honden. Een aanrader.

Dit is een goede camping en niet duur om als uitvalsbasis te gebruiken voor tripjes naar de Dolomieten en hutten in de omgeving. De Silianer Hutte moet men zeker gaan bezoeken. Men kijkt dan over de gehele Dolomieten heen en daar boven kan men leuke wandelingen maken. Ook vanaf de camping zijn leuke wandelingen te maken. Met de trein kan men tevens met de fiets naar Lienz. Afdaling naar Lienz per fiets en met de trein weer omhoog. Op de camping is ook een gratis huttenkaart verkrijgbaar waarmee men veel hutten kan bezoeken en van de omgeving kan genieten. Voordat men het weet staat men er een week en is nog lang niet uitgekeken. Zelf hebben we dit jaar weer een bezoek gebracht en dat was ons derde keer.

We zijn hier in het laagseizoen van 2007 en in het hoogseizoen van 2008 geweest. Beide keren hebben we hier met veel plezier gestaan. We hebben vele prachtige wandeltochten gemaakt. Een hiervan was de Silianer Hutte, maar de mogelijkheden zijn ontelbaar.

Ook kun je hier goed fietsen. We zijn met de fiets naar Lienz geweest en als je het terug te zwaar vindt dan kun je met de fiets in de trein weer terug tot het station op 200 meter van de camping. Ook is het goed te fietsen naar Italië. Een enkele steiging, maar goed te doen en onderweg is het heerlijk uitrusten met een broodje en genieten van de mooie natuur. De eigenaars zijn zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug want hebben nog ideeën genoeg op ons verlanglijstje staan
