Dit moet ooit een mooie camping geweest zijn, maar ze is duidelijk aan vernieuwing toe. De wegen zijn in zeer slechte staat, zeer smalle laantjes met niet-gesnoeide bomen. Internet werkt niet, een deel van de verlichting ook niet. Openingsuren van restaurant & frituur kloppen niet. Prijzen komen in restaurant komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid, waarop je zeer onvriendelijk toch nog meer moet betalen als buiten op een publiciteitsbord staat. Onze televisie werkte ook niet, maar dit was blijkbaar het geval op het grootste deel van de camping. Kranten véél te laat op de dag, meestal pas aanwezig vanaf 10h30.
De recreatie stelt ook niet veel voor, en de zwemvijver is verre van goed onderhouden (veel 'blur' op de bodem, wat wijst op niet-reinigen).
Dit moet ooit een mooi onderhouden camping geweest zijn, maar ze is duidelijk in verval aan het geraken.
De grote pluspunten zijn de plaatsen, de natuur en omgeving.

Bij regenweer een zeer triestige bedoening, ingangswegen zeer smal door begroeging die niet wordt bijgesnoeid. Er is te weinig onderhoud op deze camping.

We komen hier met de mobilhome sedert Pasen geregeld kamperen voor 1 of meerdere nachten. De kinderen vinden het hier zalig, zeker op het kampeerplein waar de speeltoestellen staan. Bij mooi weer is de zwemvijver zalig voor groot en klein. Je hebt alle dagen de mogelijkheid om vers brood, koffiekoeken en dergelijke te bestellen. Het onthaal is zeer vriendelijk en ook de bediening in de Taverne is dit. De camping ademt een familiale sfeer uit en de afgebakende terreinen, waar maximaal 10 caravans, tenten en/of mobilhomes staan, bevorderen dat zeker. Het is een goede formule tussen individueel afgesloten plaatsen en een groot terrein waar iedereen bij elkaar staat.

De camping en de percelen zien er zeer mooi uit, maar veel onderhoud gebeurt er blijkbaar niet aan de camping: slechte wegen vol putten (je wagen proper houden kan je niet), de verlichting werkt op verscheidene plaatsen niet, en het draadloos internet werkt ook compleet niet. Wel zijn er zeer mooie grote percelen mooi afgebakend met groen. Minpunt voor ons is ook het feit dar er geen bewaking/conciërge is. Niettemin hebben we hier een mooi verlof doorgemaakt.

We were given a pitch in a section without any other units - great! Pitches are large and in the area we were in there was a child's play area of its own. We were a long way from showers, lakes and sports facilities although we had very pleasant surroundings where we were. Make sure you bypass Turnhout as it is a bit of a rabbit warren to get through if you don't know it.
