Wij hebben een weekend doorgebracht op Parelstrand en ondanks de negatieve berichten zijn wij er erg positief over. Het is ons 100% meegevallen. De caravan was netjes en we hadden een mooie grote plek naast de caravan. Alles was aanwezig. Koelkast ging kapot 's avonds laat hadden we binnen een half uur een andere. Hier werd absoluut niet moeilijk over gedaan. Er was een gezellige kantine en een leuke winkel waar ze alles verkopen tegen redelijke prijzen. Kortom: een leuke camping. Wij hebben weleens slechtere gezien.

Er is maar één sanitairgebouw op de hele camping en dat is veel te weinig. Wel werd het goed en vaak schoongemaakt. Er is veel herrie op de camping tot midden in de nacht; door het café, maar ook door schreeuwende mensen. Hierdoor vind ik het park niet kindvriendelijk; dit ligt niet aan de speeltuintjes of activitewiten, want die zijn er genoeg. Het zwembad was erg koud en al helemaal voor kleine kinderen! Het zwembad ziet er wel leuk uit. Het park oogt slordig en dat komt door de vele (onafgebouwde) chalets/stacaravans.
Veel mensen gaan naar het toiletgebouw met de auto (en let dan op de open raampjes en de muziek voluit!). Totaal geen toezicht en de Parelstrandauto's die er rond rijden hebben 's avondslaat ook de muziek in de auto keihard aan. Niet echt bevordelijk voor de nachtrust van onze kinderen.

Helaas veel geluidsoverlast van het cafe, en als je verhaal ging halen bij de receptie vertelde die je doodleuk dat je dan maar moest gaan klagen bij het cafe!alsof je in je eentje een bomvol cafe instapt om half 3 s' nachts wanneer iedereen als een stuk in zijn kraag gedronken heeft!Muziek en karaoke tot half 3 was geen uitzondering. Ook is er maar 1 toiletgebouw en als je zoals wij daar het verst vanaf zit kan ik je verzekeren dat je daar niet happy mee bent.Ook veel zigeunerfamilies, heb ik niks tegen maar wel als ze met 5 caravans en 2 campers tegelijk komen, naast elkaar willen staan en er vervolgens 10 kleine kinderen en 6 honden uit komen.Nou die kinderen gaan niet naar bed op de tijd dat de uwe gaan hoor, en zacht daar hebben ze ook nog nooit van gehoord.zwembad was maar 18 graden en het meer werd overspoeld door honden. Nee deze camping is zijn geld absoluut niet waard, of je het nou gewoon boekt of via vakantieveiling.nl, het blijft altijd te veel.Wat een ellende!

Doordat de kermis een week lang tot een uur of 3 door gaat. Knetterhard savonds/ snachts doe je in een tent geen oog dicht.
niet echt bevorderend voor je goede vakantiegevoel en rust! de kinderen werden er flink jengelig van en wij zijn daarom eerder vertrokken. er is op ruim 10 km na enig zoeken een supermarkt te vinden. zwembad hengelhoef is leuk voor de kids, je mag geen eten mee naar binnen nemen. handig om te weten.
