From Eindhoven in Houthalen keep following road as far as the E314. Cross bridge, take E314 and drive in the direction of Aachen (Aken). After approx. 5 km exit 30 'Park Midden Limburg'. Follow signs to Hengelhoef and camp site.

Hadden beoordelingen gelezen en hadden wel een beetje angst.Maar alles is prima velopen , vriendelijke onvangst mooie grote kampeerplaats, goed onderhouden sanitair (wanneer het vuil is ligt het meestal aan de mensen, kinderen die alles vuil achter laten en zelfs vies zijn van zichzelf) Men mag nog zoveel poetsen als men wil de gebruikers van het sanitair moeten eerst maar eens in eigen boezem durven kijken.Niet iedereen laat alles vuil achter. Het zijn maar enkelingen die het voor de rest verknoeien.En ja het eten is maar gewoontjes maar zeker niet slecht en vooral voldoende. Als je natuurlijk uitgebreid wil lunchen moet je dat elders doen.En moet je ook meer geld spenderen,je kan niet verwachten dat ze voor een paar euro een drie sterren maaltijd aanbieden.Het zwemparadijs was ook zeer netjes en zeker niet vol slijk zoals sommigen beweren.Hebben met de kinderen en kleinkinderen een leuk paasweekend beleeft en komen zeker terug.

Weekend in een chalet gezeten. Het inchecken ging prima. Werden snel en efficiënt geholpen. Het zwembad is uitstekend en zelfs op dit moment was er veel personeel om toezicht te houden. Wat erg tegenviel was dat het restaurant op zondag om 18.00 uur gesloten was en ook op de vertrekdag, we moesten uiterlijk 10.00 het chalet verlaten, was er geen mogelijkheid een kopje koffie te drinken. Op de camping zou ik persoonlijk niet willen staan. Vooral in het seizoen sta je boven op elkaar.

Een leuke camping om er heen te gaan. zeer goede onder houden kampeer plek voor naar toe te gaan.en een goede om gang met de kinderen. en je kan goede kontakt met het personeel.

Wij hebben het goed gehad, alles schoon zelfs het linnengoed was nieuw in de stacaravan. Tegenvaller waren de tennisbanen, trampolines, voetbalvelden met 40 cm hoog gras, zeer verwaarloosd, dat is jammer want met goed onderhoud kunnen ze hier geld mee verdienen dmv verhuur, nu is dit alles gratis en komen er zo dus ook geen inkomsten binnen om het te onderhouden. Zwembad supergoed, dat het vies is tijdens slecht weer is logisch want de mensen lopen er met modderschoenen, dat is ook niet schoon te houden, wij zagen dat ze vaak met zo'n schoonmaakmachine aan het dweilen waren, ook veel badmeesters ter controle. In de omgeving was veel te doen, bosrijk. De waterfietsen en midgetgolf baan waren ook gratis erg leuk maar weer gemiste inkomsten voor het park...het eten in het restaurant leek goed, we hebben er echter niet gegeten en de commentaren die we hoorden waren erg slecht... sommige mederwerkers waren niet vriendelijk, de meesten wel... het viel me op dat er veel klachten waren, eerlijk en oneerlijk.

Omwille van een huwelijksfeest in Houthalen-Helchteren, geopteerd om een stacaravan te huren voor 1 nacht via Vacansoleil.
Administratie vooraf door Vacansoleil perfect, aankomen op 'camping' om 17u op een zaterdag gigantische ramp. Receptie was reeds gesloten en we werden doorverwezen naar de bar. Daar smeet men bijna een plattegrond, sleutel en een parkeerkaart naar ons hoofd.
Stacaravans waren in orde, maar wel geen afbakening tussen de stacaravans.
De dag nadien wensten we uit te rijden, parkeerkaart functioneerde niet. Wat blijkt nu (na lang wachten aan de receptie) als de receptie toe is, geven ze iedereen parkingkaart voor 1 dag zodoende je moet toekomen.
Personeel aan de receptie was volledig Nederlands, geen enkele Belg te bekennen. Klantvriendelijk was nergens te merken.
Onze beslissing: never again.
