Vriendelijke ontvangst op Astrid. Wij gingen in het laagseizoen en vonden er vrij ruime plaatsen. De wegen zijn geasfalteerd. Helaas konden we enkel terecht op het sanitair aan de ingang. Dit was wel mooi verzorgd maar met een bezetting van zo'n 60 caravans was één (1) afwasbak toch te weinig. De douches werken met met jetons of met een kaart waarop je vooraf een bedrag kan toevoegen. Elke plaats is verder voorzien van elektriciteit en aan/afvoer van water. Je hebt er ook gratis kabeltv. De speeltuin bevond zich vrij ver van de toerplaatsen. Voor de inkopen kan je tercht in een Delhaize-winkel of de goedkopere Lidl (400 meter). Via een loopbrug ben je na 100 meter op het strand en de duinen.
Daar kan je kiezen tussen een naaktstrand (rechts) of het "gewone" strand. Vlakbij de camping is een tramhalte waardoor je in geen tijd in Oostende bent.

Very friendly site close to bridge to beach and with tram stop close. Local restaurant at the gate and all shops needed close and walkable. The tent camping ground in good condition and with toilet block very handy. Water very hot [adjustable] at all times day and night. We returned at end of trip to France and will do so in future. A full holiday could be had here. The general feeling is of quality but inexpensive. The people from the static and touring caravans are pleasant and so are the tent campers. Wind and rain was a problem even thought the site is well screened. This was not so in the good weather of July we were told. Seems to be a secure site - not as experienced in France a few times! A couple who were unsuitable guests were soon politely dealt with and shown the way out by the management which gives confidence in that quality and friendly respect will be paramount. We will be happy to recommend your stay - but leave room for our return.

Nahe am Wasser, Ostendes Fussgängerzone ideal mit Strassenbahn zu erreichen, wunderschöne Dünenlandschaft, selbst bei Ebbe das Wasser gut zu erreichen, nettes Personal, Duschen per Kreditkarte für Kurzduscher genialer Kostenfaktor, Grasboden, Discounter zu Fuss zu erreichen ...
