Stayed a week to take advantage of the proximity to the city centre. Short walk to bus stop and very regular service. Fantastic city. The site was only a third in use, no sports facilities open so cannot fairly comment. When it rained some of the pitches were flooded and muddy. Toilets and showers great lots of hot water and clean. Staff at reception were lovely.

Het ideale uitgangspunt voor bezoek aan Dubrovnik.de bus stopt op Tien minuten lopen. Het strand idem.Na een hoosbui veranderde de camping in een stroomversnelling, maar dat is bijzaak. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Na de hoosbui werden de straten beperkt schoon gemaakt.

De camping ligt in een verlaging tussen de pijnbomen. Ook in de tweede week van september 2011 was er nog erg heet. Geen uitzicht. Het enige positieve is dat je gebruik kunt maken van het mooie zwembad van de hotels even verderop (300 meter). Sanitair keurig schoon en voortdurend is men bezig dat bij te houden. Internet (wifi) gratis op basis van de ingecheckte naam en men was zeer bereidwillig uitleg te geven. Alleen de bewaking sprak nauwelijks een vreemde taal en die gaf onduidelijke aanwijzingen bij zowel aankomst als vertrek. Camping is een zeer goed uitgangspunt voor een bezoek aan de schitterende stad Dubrovnik, maar daarna is het wat ons betreft weer snel wegwezen. Hoge prijs voor september, heel erg stevig. Wij kunnen ons dan ook goed voorstellen dat men wat verder weg van de stad zijn onderkomen zoekt. Enige voordeel was dat wij op Krk later 10% korting kregen bij dezelfde organisatie op basis van onze factuur.

Wir waren mit Motorrädern angereist. Wir wurden herzlich willkommen, völlig unproblematisch eingecheckt und konnten unseren Platz selbst suchen. Strand nicht weit, Pool vom Hotel nutzbar, Abendessen in nahegelegenen Restaurants möglich. Strandbars vorhanden mit gutem Angebot. Selten einen so guten Platz in Kroatien gefunden.

Verhouding prijs-kwaliteit klopt niet. Te duur voor wat aangeboden wordt. Met de aan de receptie tentoongestelde prijslijst wordt niet gewerkt voor campers. Voor hen telt een speciaal tarief (duurder dan een caravan en auto). Praten met de receptiebediende hierover en de prijs eisen die op het bord stond, hielp niet. Het was of een andere camping zoeken, of de hogere prijs aanvaarden. Jammer van hun werkwijze. Je voelt je een beetje bedrogen door hun manier van werken. De camping was begin juli 2011 verre van volzet. Met wat meer inzet zou dit een goede camping kunnen worden, maar er is hier nog veel werk aan de winkel.
