Really nice site without all the hubbub of on site entertainment; we shall visit again. Fairly large pitches (some huge) well divided by mature trees or large hedges = you could be quite private if you wished. Relaxed; you could choose your pitch. Water and electricity very close to every pitch. Supermarket & shops in town very close by. Some noise from trains. Only downside is there is only one toilet block, which might become overcrowded if the site was full; but it wasn't while we were there (early July). Toilet block kept immaculate.

Het was er in de week voor Pinksteren opvallend rustig. Enig snoeiwerk op de camping zou geen kwaad kunnen om wat meer van de zonneschijn te kunnen genieten. Omgeving prima met Fontainebleau, het aquaduct en de gigantische Carrefour in Villier en Biere. Het beheerdersechtpaar is zeer klantvriendelijk, het toiletgebouw gedateerd maar wordt zeer schoon gehouden.

Vanuit Gent zijn wij hier eind augustus 2010 aangeland. In de middag het prachtige kasteel van Fontainebleau binnen en buiten bezocht. De camping ligt in een vrij dicht bos, maar op het plekje dat wij hadden konden wij toch de satalliet ontvangen. Doordat het flink geregend had waren de toiletgebouwen wat modderig, ondanks dat men dweilen bij de trap en ingang had neergelegd. Er is veel treinverkeer tot circa 23.00 uur en vanaf 06.00 uur, maar dat is niet echt storend. Gratis Wifi met een code. Goede camping om Fontainebleau te bezoeken en mogelijk ook Parijs. Voor kinderen speeltoestellen en een rdelijk zwembad.
