Heel goede camping, goede prijs-kwaliteit, wij namen een plaats 'grande confort', dit zijn de duurdere plaatsen. Die plaatsen liggen achteraan de camping en zijn dus heel rustig. De andere plaatsen liggen dan dichter bij het zwembad en bij de winkel en dergelijke, waardoor je meer passage en dus meer lawaai had. We keken uit over een groot veld waar de kinderen naar hartelust konden spelen. Uitgebaat door Nederlanders.

Wij zijn in de zomer van 2005 en 2006 op Verdoyer geweest. Onze zoon is rolstoelgebonden en hier kon hij erg goed terecht. Zowel het terrein als het sanitair was prima en mooi ruim. Personeel en de eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk. Men vroeg ook of alles voor ons naar wens was met betrekking tot de aanpassingen voor onze zoon. Voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen echt een prima camping. Leuke animatie, iedere week live-muziek op het pleintje. Erg gezellig en zeker niet storend hard. Helaas zijn onze kinderen wat ouder en tieners hebben wat andere wensen zodat we nu een ander soort campings bezoeken. Wij hebben in ieder geval erg mooie herinneringen aan onze vakanties op Chateau le Verdoyer.

Jammer dat we wat later in onze vakantie deze camping vonden anders hadden we hier wel langer willen blijven (nu 8 nachten). De animatie is Nederlandstalig en helemaal top. Campingleiding is overigens ook Nederlandstalig. Leuke kinderspeeltuintjes en het zwembad is ook niets mis mee. Je kunt er zelfs Nederlandse frikandellen en kroketten eten. Dit was een leuke verassing want onze kinderen hadden al twee weken niet of nauwelijks gegeten en die hadden de beste maaltijd van de vakantie. (kinderen 1 en 4 jaar)

Zijn in augustus 2007 geweest met 3 kinderen. Als je aankomt oogt het gelijk mooi, oprit met visvijver en kasteeltje. Leuke kleinere camping waar je de kinderen met een gerust hart hun gang laat gaan. Kinderen vonden zwembad en animatie leuk. Animatie is leuk voor kinderen tot 10 jr denk ik. Visvijver bij kasteel is leuk, je vangt altijd wat, zelfs een 'niet-vissers', zoals wij. Eten van snackbar mag van mij kwalitatief beter. Eten in kasteelrestaurant is goed, maar prijziger. Al met al een prima vakantie gehad. Camping ligt erg rustig, dus voor boodschappen moet je een stuk rijden naar Nontron (15 min). In omgeving kan je mooi wandelen. Voor andere tripjes heb je echt de auto nodig, bijv. naar Brantome, Grotten Villars, Perigeux of Oradour sur Glane (bij Limoges). Eigenaren van camping zijn erg gastvrij en toegankelijk. Je kan op deze camping echt tot rust komen. Wel (muziek)optredens en animatie 's avonds, maar bescheiden. Geen harde muziek en/of dreunende disco's.
