From W on A89 Bordeaux-Lyon exit 16 dir. Périgueux, at roundabout towards Sarlat (D9089 and D47) as far as Versannes, then left dir. Rouffignac and follow blue signs; from E on the A89 take exit 17 dir. Thenon (D6089), 3 km past Thenon left (D31) dir. Rouffignac and follow blue signs.

Hebben met heel veel plezier op deze camping 2 weken verbleven. Echter: het afscheid nemen c.q. afrekenen bij de beheerders/eigenaren was minder plezierig. Zij vertoonden hierbij een zeer onbehoorlijk gedrag. Wat was het geval: zij betichten ons er van bij aankomst aan hen niet de ACSI kortingskaart te hebben getoond, terwijl dit wel nadrukkelijk het geval was geweest. De korting werd dientengevolge in eerste instantie niet aan ons verstrekt. Wij moesten praten als "Brugman" teneinde betrokkenen er van te overtuigen dat zij fout waren. Onheuse bejegeningen werden ons door het echtpaar(vooral door de heer des huizes, maar in mindere mate ook zijn echtgenote) toegeworpen. Dus toekomstige klanten van deze camping: vergewis u ervan dat u wel degelijk bij aankomst mededeelt dat u gebruik maakt van de ACSI CampingCard. Wij zouden u bijna aanraden om het betrokken echtpaar een kopie te overhandigen. Hiermee voorkomt u wellicht de vervelende discussie die wij met hen hebben moeten voeren.

This is a great little campsite for anyone who likes peace and quiet and very high camping standards. The owners who run it are friendliness and helpfulness itself. The site is partly wooded and all levels of shade from full to none are available. It is also terraced on a hillside and the outlook is magnificent. The facilities are as plentiful and as pristine as you would expect on a Dutch-owned campsite. Drinks are available at the bar at reception and Shirley organises a communal meal every Friday. Pitch sizes are generous but there is plenty of opportunity to get to know the neighbours. The site is something of a secret kept by the Dutch and the English are missing out badly. The Dutch make delightful camping companions and we made friends. The site is easy to find, just outside the pretty village of Rouffignac (market on Sunday) which is about 20 miles or so SE of Perigueux. There is a cave to explore at Rouffignac and Sarlat and Bergerac are about an hour away.

Accueil chaleureux. Séjour agréable, trés calme, trés reposant. Proche de tous les lieux touristiques.

Fijne camping waar we al een aantal jaren echt thuiskomen. Prettige en vooral rustige sfeer! Vooral het kampvuur en de wekelijkse barbecue en maaltijden spreken ons erg aan! Zeer hartelijk beheerdersechtpaar dat er echt alles aan doet om je een fijne vakantie te laten beleven. Prachtige omgeving om te wandelen en autoritjes te maken. Na alle activiteiten is het heerlijk afkoelen in het zwembad en 's avonds voor het naar bed gaan nog even sterren kijken. Prachtig!
Kortom een echte aanrader!!

Leuke camping om weer terug te komen.
We zijn al meerdere keren op dit terrein geweest en het is er altijd weer gezellig. Mooi terrein en direct vanaf de verharde weg bereikbaar op 3,5 km van Rouffignac. Prachtig uitzicht. In omgeving kan je leuk fietsen over stille weggetjes, soms even klimmen, maar daarna weer een lange afdaling.
Kinderbad en groot zwembad met rubberen rand, waarop je lekker kan liggen (of op de ligstoelen ernaast). Het sanitair wordt steeds goed onderhouden. Sinds vorig jaar ook een Wifi-punt in de omgeving van het terras aanwezig, zodat je onder het genot van een drankje of ijsje kan internetten.
Elke week gezamelijke BBQ of maaltijd, kampvuur of zomaar een drankje aan de bar. Niet ver van Dordogne, Vezere en le Bugue en Perigueux met kastelen, grotten enz
