Route:

In Bordeaux follow direction Bayonne A63 as far as exit 7. Then take D810 (formerly known as RN10). Stay on D810 (RN10) till about 1 km before Ondres centre. Take the road to the left to Ondres-Plage. Left at the 1st roundabout and follow the signs.

Not a good experience. We stayed first week of March 2012. Only 2 showers and 4 toilets to be shared amongst 20 campers. Charged over CCA price and neither receipt given nor reason for additional charge. Very difficult to access the site which has a lot of building work going on.

If you have a heavy motorhome (over 3500kg) - which are more and more common now - note that this campsite wants to charge €5.5 per night extra!
However, the reception staff must be commended for their excellent communication - probably the best I've come across anywhere.

Een geweldige camping, heel goed verzorgd en een prima ontvangst van de eigenaars.
Goede zwemvoorziening - en ook voor de wat oudere campinggasten, en een goede uitgangspositie om te gaan fietsen en wandelen en alle andere activiteiten die een camping tot een prima camping maken. Wij waren in de periode van 1 september tot 29 september en het was erg rustig. Dus voor ons prima. En wij hadden in die periode prachtig mooi weer. En dat is dan mooi meegenomen.

Op deze camping zijn wij echt niet goed ontvangen geweest, we zijn daar toegekomen en er was niemand in het bureel; als we 's morgens gingen betalen was die dame echt niet vrindelijk en ze zei dat ze liever de camping wou sluiten, ik vraag mij af wie haar tegenhoudt.
