Fijne, grote camping met veel mogelijkheden. Goed gesitueerd en makkelijk bereikbaar. Aardig personeel bij de receptie. Veel activiteiten voor jong en oud. Enige minpuntje: luidruchtige jeugd die na sluitingstijd disco over de camping zwalkt. En wat kampeerplaatsen betreft is deze camping toch wel wat aan de hoge prijs in vergelijking met andere campings. Wij hadden een rubberboot met motor meegenomen, maar waren met varen op het meer gauw uitgekeken. Meer is verder prima. De camping is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor de directe, maar ook iets verdere omgeving. Diverse prachtige stranden die goed bereikbaar zijn. Leuke, karakteristieke dorpjes/stadjes in de buurt. Veel keuze uit supermarkten.

Een geweldige staanplaats aan het meer, alleen jammer dat het restaurant niet altijd open was en de keuze met betrekking tot het eten was beperkt. Een enorm grote camping, maar toch merkte je daar weinig van (zal in het hoogseizoen wel anders zijn). Wij hebben in ieder geval een hele fijne vakantie gehad op Le Col vert.

Mooie camping. Wel aan de dure kant. De camping veranderd langzaam in een mobile homes camping, waardoor het plaatsen van caravans en tenten steeds minder wordt. Het meer is een prima plek voor het windsurfen. Het meer gaat wel achteruit op kwaliteit. De omgeving is prima om te fietsen. Het strand in St Girons is goed bereikbaar met de auto.

In the week we stayed, in high season, the showers were always clean and hot. The toilets were always clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, the children's pool is excellent.

We have just returned from a great 2 weeks at Le Col Vert. The children (9 and 11) really enjoyed the activities at the kids club, and we enjoyed the other amenities at the site - Archery, ping pong. There is sailing and canoeing on the lake just outside the campsite (both speak English). The site is very French, very few Brits on the site. The caravan was great. Loads to do on and off site. Beach is very close (surf is a bit fierce). Great cycle paths from camp site. The site is large - bikes really useful to get around. Pool is OK, but doesn't have a shallow end. A great paddling pool for toddlers, though.
