Wij kwamen eind juni voor een overnachting en we komen wel meer op deze camping. We werden tijdens de middagpauze niet toegelaten tot de camping. Toen er iemand uit reed met de auto en wij gelijk naar binnen reden was men kwaad. Het lijkt of de beheerders er na 10 jaar genoeg van krijgen. Alles gaat moeilijk, gras is er op de plaatsen haast niet meer. Het zwembad is goed maar niet te groot. Sanitair is wel schoon maar kijkt al jaren naar vernieuwing. Jammer want deze camping is een goede uitvalsbasis voor Vichy en omgeving.

Nice well run site. Vichy pleasant town. Best if you still drive and park closer to centre, otherwise it's quite a trek. Cycling in would be no problem either.

Good clean riverside site. Cycle path takes you all the way into town along the river. Flat large pitches that are generally well spaced. Wide avenues and adequate space make it easy to pitch your unit. Sanitary facilities were excellent. Reception area was closed for part of the day so check first. Large off road parking area outside reception. We originally found it difficult to find and although we went through the busy town, this could have been avoided if we’d studied the map rather than use a sat nav.

Neue Bewertung nach längerem Aufenthalt.
Das Positive: Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Sanitäranlagen sauber. Der Platz liegt günstig in Stadtnähe, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Stadt mit ihren Parks sehenswert, gute Fahrradmöglichkeiten.
Das Negative: Der reservierte Platz war belegt. Wifi funktioniert häufig nicht. Die Sanitäranlagen sind völlig veraltet. Die Toiletten sind so klein und niedrig, daß ältere Menschen Probleme bei der Benutzung haben. Haltegriffe sind nicht vorhanden.
Nur wenige der engen Duschen sind in Ordnung. Die verkalkten Leitungen und Duschköpfe lassen nur einen sehr dünnen Strahl zu. Die Druckautomaten müssen in vielen Duschen und an den Wasserstellen permanent betätigt werden. Wasser im Spül- und Waschraum ist nicht mal lauwarm.
Die meisten Stellplätze sind staubig oder schlammig.
Als Durchgangsplatz geeignet.Kein Ferienplatz wegen der Unruhe durch Übernachtungen. Eisenbahn, Straßenlärm und Krähenschwärme lassen ein Ausschlafen nicht zu.

would go again but with caravan not in a tent
