Het is een rustige camping met grote staanplaatsen.
Het sanitair werd slecht en geregeld helemaal niet schoongemaakt.

Geweldig leuke camping, met hele grote staplaatsten op vrij open velden, met genoeg bomen waar je lekker schaduw kunt vinden. Nieuw zwembad met glijbaan en peuterbad. De camping ligt direct aan een rivier en ook aan een meer waar je (bewaakt) kan zwemmen, ook de plaatselijke bevolking. Je kon er heerlijk wandelen (om het meer of langs de rivier). Toiletten werden goed schoon gehouden. De camping is een onderdeel van een zone de loisirs en wordt totaal door de gemeente onderhouden. 's Nachts werd de camping goed verlicht en bewaakt. Er stonden langs het wegje op de camping veel afvalcontainers die dagelijks werden geleegd. Supermarkt op 800 meter. Het vulkanisch natuurpark in omgeving met de grote stad Clermont Ferrand om te winkelen en de prachtige vulkaan de Puy de Dôme, waar je helemaal op naar boven kunt, zijn zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken.

Mooie ruime plekken in het groen. Sanitair goed schoon, kwaliteit iets gedateerd. Goede gratis warme douches. Nieuw zwembad(je) op de camping met gratis ligstoelen. Recreatiehuisjes (ca. 30 stuks) op apart deel van de camping. Prima(behulpzaam) personeel op de receptie. Op 12 km van het centrum van Clermont-Ferrand. Goede basis om de streek te verkennen (Puy de dome). Beperkte fietsmogelijkheden (ongeoefenden) ivm hoogteligging gebied. (grote) Supermarkten op 2 km afstand en kleine supermarkt op 500m. Ned.krant te koop in het centrum Cournon. Wifi op de camping, geen internet-cafe in de buurt (op 12 km) Restaurant direct naast de camping aan recreatiemeertje.
