Ik ben hier meerdere malen geweest met vrouw, en later met de kinderen erbij. Het is een goed verzorgde camping. Af en toe komt overdag een beheerder even een kijkje nemen. Verder is er geen personeel aanwezig.
Het gras wordt keurig bijgehouden. Sanitair voldoet goed, wordt goed bijgehouden en in ruime mate aanwezig gezien de grootte van de camping. Elektra is ook recentelijk vernieuwd en ziet er goed uit.
Camping wordt omsloten door een riviertje de "Sambre". Voldoende schaduwplekken aanwezig, indien gewenst. Plekken worden wel aangegeven, maar dan moet je er wel naar zoeken (overigens bekommert niemand zich hierover aangezien er ruim voldoende plekken aanwezig zijn). Vooral de grote lindebomen aan de wegkant zijn een uitkomst.
Soms is de graansilo aan de weg enigszins lawaaierig, maar u kunt verder naar het naastgelegen weiland staan (ook schaduw aanwezig).
Men kan van hieruit mooi de wijnstreken verkennen. Supermarkt kan men lopend doen (5 min.).
