Route:

From Cosne take the D955 in the direction of Bourges. In St. Satur drive in the direction of St. Thibault (D2). The camp site is located on the left of the road by the river, just before the bridge over the Loire.

Prachtige (goedkope) camping aan de rivier. Mooi en schoon sanitair. Goede restaurants op loopafstand. Bakker in het dorpje. Openbaar zwembad iets verder lopen. Heerlijke omgeving als je van wijnen houdt.

Een camping waar ik al jaren met plezier kom. Uitstekend sanitair, prachtige omgeving, supermarkt dicht in de buurt, veel sportmogelijkheden (tennis, golf, zwemmen, kajak, wandelen). Goed onderhouden en schoon. Aardige restaurants in de buurt.

Buitengewoon ideaal voor senioren buiten het hoogseizoen. Dan zijn zeer mooie plaatsen beschikbaar aan de rand van de Loire. Helaas werken de kranen op het emplacement niet, doch kan men wel gebruik maken van de afvoer. Het fietspad langs de Loire is inmiddels aangelegd tot Sancerre. Deze loopt over de (niet meer door de SNCF gebruikte) spoorbrug van St. Satur. Wandelmogelijkheden in de wijnbergen. Diverse mooie steden in de omgeving. Voor de golfliefhebber is deze camping het uitgangspunt voor een top vakantie. Naast de camping ligt n.l. het golfterrein van Sancerre met 18 holes.
