Route:

Pass Tours on the A10, take exit 24 Joué-les-Tours. Take the D751 towards Chinon. Follow the signs in the direction of Lac. After approximately 5 km from the Motorway the camp site is marked by signs.

In juni 2008 zijn wij op deze camping geweest. een mooie camping. Het sanitair is schoon en het personeel bij de receptie is heel vriendelijk. Het zwembad met drie baden is mooi, waarvan een overdekt is. Er was weinig entertainment, maar dat kwam waarschijnlijk ook door de periode waarin wij zijn geweest. Deze camping is zeker de moeite waard, zeker als je de Loirestreek wilt gaan bezichtigen.

Een prima camping voor een kort verblijf of doorreis. De campingpaatsen geven een hoge mate aan privacy en worden goed onderhouden. Ook het sanitair is van uitstekende kwaliteit en staat van onderhoud.
In de receptie kan je uitstekend met de Engelse taal terecht en wordt je vriendelijk geholpen.
Na 5 dagen verblijf hadden wij wel het gevoel dat de camping wat animatie mist. Dit kan te maken hebben met het feit dat de camping dicht aan een (nieuwbouw)woonwijk ligt. Dagelijks veel campinglawaai zal dan wel niet op prijs worden gesteld door de buurtbewoners.
Omdat de camping aan de rand van Tours ligt, hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt van de campingwinkel. Net buiten de camping zijn er al voldoende supermarkten voor alle noodzakelijk dingen. Vanaf de supermarkt even naar het centrum van tours is maar een paar kilometer en zeker de moeite waard.
