Voor de vierde keer bezocht. De ligging is prima voor bezoek aan de vele kastelen in de omgeving. Brood op de camping uitstekend product van de lokale bakker!
Helaas het sanitair is de afgelopen jaren achteruit gegaan. Ongeveer tien jaar geleden is het nieuwe sanitairhuis gebouwd. In die tijd functioneerde alles uitstekend. Er was toiletpapier en er waren ca.20 goed functionerende douches. Inmiddels is de helft afgesloten dmv een soort houten schot. Verschillende toiletten waren verstopt. Kan gebeuren tijdens seizoen maar na ca. 3 dagen kan er toch wel iemand komen om dat op te lossen? De douches zijn of koud of zeer warm zodat je er niet meer onder kan. Meegedeeld bij de receptie.
Op het terrein bevinden zich nog drie andere, oudere sanitair huizen, functioneren redelijk tot goed hoewel daar ook de douches zeer heet staan afgesteld. Je hand houd je daar niet lang onder! Afvaldepot is een eind lopen, vroeger op verschillende plaatsen werd het opgehaald. Foei gemeente Bracieux.

Wij hebben hier midden juli 5 dagen gestaan. Zeer grote camping, waar we onze ruime plaats zelf mochten kiezen. Was er niet druk. Zonnig gelegen met toch schaduw op de caravan 's morgens. Rustige camping. Verschillende sanitiaire blokken, wel wat verouderd, maar proper onderhouden en steeds warm water. Overal wateraftapkranen en elektriciteitspunten. Gelegen naast dorp met bakkers, slagers, restaurants. Ideaal om te fietsen op de vlakke vele fietsroutes. Per fiets naar Chambord, Chervigny en Blois. Chaumont-sur-Loire kortbij. Wij zijn overdag doorgaans weg met de fiets en hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad of de sportfaciliteiten. Geen grote luxe maar goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Spijtig geen wifi internet, wel één computer ter beschikking in de receptie.

Wij mochten met onze camper kiezen uit een beperkt aantal plaatsen, veel plaatsen onmogelijk ivm lage boomtakken. Elektrakast ver weg, terwijl wij 30 m kabels bij ons hadden. Sanitair erg oud en niet goed bijgehouden. Er was 1 sanitairgebouw (verder bij ons vandaan) wat wel redelijk netjes was.

Op deze camping 2 nachten verbleven. Het sanitair was oud en vies, behalve het sanitairgebouw bij de ingang. Dit werd ook gebruikt door de beheerders. Geen duidelijke plaatsen. Ons werd een gedeelte op de plattegrond aangewezen waar we een plekje konden uitzoeken. Plaatsen waren wel ruim maar veel gasten namen meer plaats in dan waar ze recht op hadden. Er was geen campingwinkeltje of bar. Wel lekker rustig. Brood alleen verkrijgbaar op bestelling (dag te voren bestellen). Wij hadden de indruk dat het beheerderskoppel er geen zin meer in had. Campingterrein lag nog vol met bladeren van vorig jaar. Stroomaansluiting soms erg ver weg, meer dan 35 meter. en niet voldoende stopcontacten,

Camping is goed gelegen om de kastelen te bezoeken. Camping lag er onverzorgd bij, slechts één sanitaire blok was open de andere was gesloopt. In juni het gras nog niet gemaaid, bladeren nog niet geruimd van vorige herfst. Voor een gemeentelijke camping zijn wij het alleszins veel beter gewoon.
