Route:

From Montargis drive south on the N7. Near Briare exit towards Briare. In the town keep in the direction of Nevers, at the marina cross the bridge and turn right. Clearly signposted.

Camping Le Martinet is een goede uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Briare en voor het maken van leuke fietstochten in de omgeving. Wij waren er in juni 2010. Rustige camping ruime plaatsen en redelijk, maar schoon sanitair.

Dit was een goede camping zonder meer om er 1 nacht door te brengen maar niet om er een ganse vakantie te bljven.

Wij waren aangenaam verrast, toen wij de camping opreden, want -hoewel in het hoogseizoen- was er toch ruimte te over om een mooie plek voor onze tent te zoeken. Gelukkig niet allen maar vakken tussen hagen en voldoende, bladerrijke bomen. Het sanitairgebouw leek ons wat klein voor al die gasten, maar dat viel geweldig mee. We komen beslist terug en dan voor langere tijd, want de omgeving is mooi en interessant. Een aanraden ook voor onze (klein)kinderen. Er zijn schommels, een trampoline ennnog wat andere speeltoestellen. Ook mensen met honden kunnen er goed terecht, want langs de rivier is een prachtige wandelmogelijkheid! Het is een rustige, groene camping zonder poes-pas met vriendelijke mensen bij de receptie. Briare leek ons een gezellig stadje met veel mogelijkheden voor watersport of culturele uitstapjes. De kerk vol mozaïek indrukwekkend!

We stayed only for one night but we found a friendly staff, large pitches, nice sanitaries. A good and affordable place to rest.

Zeer mooie camping even buiten de stad met zeer mooie fietsroutes in de buurt van 35tot 45a 50km goed tedoen net de stadsfiets wel enkele versnellingen bij sommige routes, routes verkrijgbaar bij de receptie,vriendelijk personeel.
