Tegen de winter is alleen het sanitair gebouw achter de receptie open en dat is niet het beste gebouw. Het heet dat er verwarmd sanitair is, maar uitsluitend bij de douche brandt er een elektrisch kacheltje. Warm water om te douchen of af te wassen was er niet.

Good flat site on two levels. Top level has well defined pitches, second level spread out along the banks of the river with good shade from trees, this river section could possibly get muddy in times of heavy rain or raised river levels. Good views across river to town centre. Excellent sanitary facilities. Pleasant walk along river to town. Crossing bridge to campsite wasn’t a problem but could be difficult for large outfits due to cars parked along the D952. When leaving the site to travel south we chose the D951 to Chatillon- sur- mer therby avoiding any town congestion

We waren hier de laatste week van augustus 2011. Mooie camping met ruime (zelf te kiezen) plaatsen. Prachtig uitzicht op Gien. Wel druk verkeer aan de overkant van de rivier. Jammer dat het sanitair beslist te wensen over liet. Was ronduit vies! En dat voor een driesterrencamping! Ook het zwembad stelt niet veel voor.

A large and very well-organised site, facilities were good and welcome was friendly. Not too expensive either. Nice farm shop outside the entrance. Musee de la Chasse in Gien was a highlight!

We waren hier in juli 2011 en ondanks het niet altijd mooie weer hebben we ons uitstekend vermaakt. Dit is een camping waar we zeker nog eens terug komen. Ook leuk is dat het op loopafstand van de stad Gien is, zelf naar de supermarkt kan je lopen!
