De camping ligt werkelijk in een prachtige omgeving tussen de bergen van de Jura aan een superblauw meer. Het verschilt per campingplaats hoeveel je van het meer ziet. Op het terrein zelf zijn levensmiddelen, een krant etc te krijgen. Voor een echte supermarkt moet je een kilometer of 25 rijden. Fietsen kan hier goed, helaas vaak wel over wegen waar auto's 90 km rijden. Fietspaden kennen ze niet.

Erg groot nadeel, en voor ons een reden om niet meer terug te komen, zijn de sanitaire voorzieningen. Geen wc-brillen, reinigen gebeurt met de hogedrukspuit. "Dat is geen reinigen maar vuil verspreiden" schreef iemand anders al. Het geeft allemaal een armoedige indruk. Erg vreemd als je zoiets prachtigs als een camping op deze plek in handen hebt.

Verder is wifi duur (15 euro voor 10 uur) vooral omdat het extreem langzaam is. Vaak lukt laden niet. Klagen helpt niet, volgens de eigenaren zijn er nooit problemen mee.

Grote camping met ruime plaatsen. Met een eigen winkelstraatje .Voldoende sanitair. Entertainment was er in onze periode matig tot bijna niet waarschijnlijk had het te maken met het slechte weer. Alles moest in de open lucht gebeuren. Camping voornamelijk geschikt voor liefhebbers van watersport en wandelen.

Ligging prima. Sanitair zeer verouderd, veel dood hout aan de bomen. Kwam naar beneden bij de eerste de beste storm.

En basse-saison les piscines sont ouvertes uniquement à partir de 14h00, l'eau du lac était un peu froide. On était dans une "fermette", très agréable avec un bon confort, malheureusement la première nuit un peu gâchée par une grande fiesta dans les bungalows attenants. Le fast food offrait une jolie carte, mais c'était juste mangeable... Sinon, la situation, le cadre, le logement, étaient vraiment sympa. Très bons souvenirs !

Site is located just outside Chatillon, a small town with an excellent restaurant (Escapade). Very quiet site with spacious pitches with some drainage issues in heavy rain. excellent pool, table tennis and canoeing on the river that runs at the bottom of the site.
Site shop offers limited range of goods and hot food, bigger shops are a 20 minute drive away.
Very good location, close to the lakes.
Lons, Dole and the hedgehogs waterfalls worth a visit.
