In de gids staat dat er sinds 01 Juni van alles open is, maar de realiteit was dat het pas per 01 Juli open ging. Dus geen verwarmd water in het zwembad, geen snack te krijgen voor 01 Juli

Goede camping in mooie omgeving, bv.: watervallen van de Herisson en Cirque de Beaume. fietsen kan rond de meren in de onmiddellijke omgeving. Alhoewel niet alle privé toiletgebouwtjes open waren en het het grote sanitairgebouw net grondig gerenoveerd werd, een aangenaam verblijf.

Camping Les Merilles is een prima camping voor het Jura-gebied - zeker qua prijs-/kwaliteit-verhouding.
Let wel even op op welke plek je gaat staan. Vanwege het achterste grote veld met nog extra kampeerders in het hoogseizoen - eigenlijk achter de camping (westwaarts - zie Google-maps), moet je proberen te vermijden een plek langs de weg op het terrein te nemen die daar naartoe leidt. In ieder geval de laatste twee tot vier plekken langs die weg zou ik niet weer kiezen. Dan rijden er de hele dag veel auto's langs. Ga in ieder geval niet op de hoek zitten (zoals wij) van die weg, schuin tegenover het toiletgebouw. Wel lekker centraal, relatief grote plek, maar heel druk om je heen met auto's en gasten.

Voor kinderen is het een leuke camping - maar let dus op die ene weg over het terrein die helemaal naar de achterste (vrije) velden loopt.

Verder komen er ook veel Fransen - hetgeen een goed gemixedte samenstelling geeft - tenzij je niet van Franse animatie houdt
