Extreme road noise from 6.30am. Staff offhand. Publicity and ACSI entry very misleading. Would not recommend

Camping ligt aan een weg, direct langs de Seine. Als je je ergert aan verkeersgeluid van auto's en boten moet je hier niet zijn. Ons viel het mee en daarbij die grote zeeschepen op weg naar Rouen zijn redelijk imposant en zie je ook niet elke dag. Wat ons wél tegen viel was de enigzins onvriendelijke benadering. Alsof alles te veel moeite was en met een gezicht zo van "Weer zo'n Nederlander met een ACSI-Campingcard". We kregen ook geen camping-info mee, dus pas later bleek dat er een bar was, dat er gegeten kon worden, dat je eten kon afhalen en dat er een broodvoorziening was. Hier hebben we dan ook geen van alle gebruik van gemaakt en kunnen die dan ook niet beoordelen. Vanaf deze camping hebben wij Fécamp en Etretat aan de kust bezocht (zeker de moeite waard) en de stad Rouen (prachtig, die mag je niet missen).

Ik reis alleen met mijn hondje in een Benivan. Op deze camping werd ik onvriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenares. Ik denk omdat ik 3 à 4 overnachtingen plande en dan nog een hond bij had, dat ik niet erg welkom was. Ik kreeg van de vriendelijke echtgenoot wel een mooie staanplaats. Het sanitair leek mooi en comfortabel. Maar de douches waren of ijskoud of kokend heet. Mijn hond moest ik uitlaten buiten het domein, wat helemaal geen probleem zou zijn, als dat niet naast de drukke weg was op een grasstrook.
Bij het afrekenen werd er geen rekening gehouden met de Acsi-kaart. Alle verbruik werd bij de dagprijs geteld. Deze camping nooit meer !

Vriendelijke uitbaters.
Goed restaurant.
Mooie campingplaats.
Jammer dat de wasplaats een open plaats is waar de wind zo inspeelt.
Zeer warm water af te tappen doch niet aan de lavabo's.
Zeer veilig daar men slechts binnen kan met de elektronische sleutel na 22.00 uur tot 07.00 uur 's 'morgens.

We hebben daar met plezier een aantal dagen gestaan. De camping is netjes en heeft een modern sanitair en enkele vormen van vermaak, incl. een veilige speeltuin voor de kleine kinderen.
Wat wij u willen meegeven is:
- de mensen spreken alleen Frans, met handen en voeten kwamen we best ver
- brood, vorige dag besteld, kan vanaf 9 uur worden opgehaald
- voor de poortsleutel (open van 0700 tot 2200) vraagt men €30 borg
- de D81 is een doorgaande weg, met redelijk wat verkeer. Hard rijden is daar goed te doen
- de douches en wc's zijn schoon
- het licht van douche en wc gaat automatisch uit, tijdens/na douchen staat u in het donker
- douches zijn open ruimtes, dus buitentemperatuur
- temperatuur douchewater is goed regelbaar
- (af)wasbakken hebben alleen koud water, er is 1 heet water tappunt
- chemisch toilet is te legen in het frans toilet, naspoelen container is niet mogelijk
- plaatsen hebben euro stopcontact of frans stopcontact
- ondergrond heeft kiezels, gebruik spijkers ipv haringen
