Wij hadden 1 week gereserveerd en zijn 3 weken gebleven, het verblijf op de camping was geweldig. De campingplaatsen hebben allemaal een eigen toiletruimte. Dat was geweldig, wat een luxe. Een prachtig aangelegde camping. Lieve behulpzame eigenaren en personeelsleden. Mooie open plaatsen, waardoor je heel veel licht hebt op de campingplaats, niet dat benauwde van heel veel campings daar in de buurt oftewel aan de Middellandse zee. Een geweldige aanrader voor iedereen. Wij komen zeer zeker terug en ook als een tussenstop vanuit een autovakantie uit Spanje. Dan huren we daar een chalet voor een aantal dagen.

Een groot voordeel van deze camping is het prive-sanitair. de gebouwtjes waren mooi schoon en zagen er goed uit. De plaatsen zijn lang en smal met hoge heggen. Die zijn ook wel nodig als de Tramontana waait. Bij een andere wind hadden we veel last van kleine steekvliegjes. De bultjes jeukten verschrikkelijk. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam op een enkele in de snackbar na. Wij konden geen pizza meenemen naar de caravan, maar even later zagen we wel andere mensen met eten lopen. Toen we terug gingen zijn we het restaurant ingegaan en daar gaf iemand de opdracht om ons wel ter wille te zijn. Naar zee moet je met de auto. Wij hebben gezocht naar een stuk strand waar onze hond ook mocht komen. Dat was ongeveer 30 kilometer. verderop. Daar was het zo heerlijk dat we de afstand op de koop toe namen. Al met al is de vakantie ons hier goed bevallen. Ook omdat Narbonne en de omgeving de moeite zeker waard is om te bekijken.

Wij hebben met een tent op deze mooie camping gestaan. De hagen zijn nu in de herfst en beslist niet onverzorgd: zij bieden een uitstekende eerste beschutting tegen de Mistralwind die af en toe krachtig kan zijn. Het eigen sanitair is een zegen, gedateerd maar moet het dan persé het nieuwste van het nieuwste zijn: alles werkte perfect! In deze landen moet je altijd anti-muggenmelk meenemen, er zijn/worden ook elektrische muggenvangers geplaatst op de camping. De ondergrond voor campers/caravans is uitstekend, voor een tentgrondzeil moeten eerst de scherpere steentjes even worden weggehaald als die er al zijn, korte spijkers zijn nodig, neem ook langere pennen mee. Het geluid van de A9 komt met de wind mee, andere windrichting en je hoort niets meer, het is als het geluid van de zee, het houdt je niet uit de slaap. Ooievaars boven je hoofd, rose flamingo's in het meer, eekhoorn hipt rond, uitstekende hulp/info van de receptiemedewerkers, geasfalteerde paden, mooie omgeving: gewoon doen!

We hebben overnacht op deze camping en dat was genoeg. Rommelige plaatsen, lang en te smal, met verwaarloosde begroeing vol met kleine insecten die je staken. De camping maakt een stoffige en rommelige indruk. Het privé sanitair is wel makkelijk, maar ook gedateerd. Geen camping om te promoten in je kennissenkring.

Het stikte van de kleine vliegjes die staken. Het winkeltje had een veel te bescheiden assortiment. Tennisbanen mogen van een nieuwe toplaag voorzien worden.
