De ingang van de camping is maar 2.20 m breed. De straten zijn zeer smal, en de plaatsen bijna ontoegankelijk. Het zwembad was leeg, ondanks temperaturen van >30°C.

Ik ben nu ter plekke tijdens het begin van het seizoen, alles is zeer net en de eigenaars heel vriendelijk, geen vraag is teveel. Ook het wifipunt is een luxe met een goed bereik. De streek ken ik al langer en kan ze van harte aanbevelen, er is zoveel moois in de regio, bergen, cultuur, zee... voor elk wat wils. Een aanrader ik kom zeker terug!!

De camping ligt op een prachtige plek aan de rand van het dorp. De camping is verdeeld in twee stukken die van elkaar worden gescheiden door een weg. Dit is met kinderen af en toe lastig, want je laat ze niet alleen naar de speeltuin op het andere deel gaan. Verder ben ik niet erg te spreken over het sanitair: de vloeren werden elke dag wel schoongespoten, maar de wastafels en afvalbakjes werden zeker niet elke dag schoongemaakt. Ook de voetstaptoiletten waren niet echt schoon. Het gemiddelde cijfer voor deze camping wordt opgekrikt door de schaduwrijke plaatsen en de ligging van de camping. Ik geef Le Rebau een 6,2.

Er staan veel vaste gasten op de camping in de huisjes of verhuurcaravans. Op het gedeelte bij de receptie en het zwembad was van de toeristische plaatsen de helft bezet. De camping was erg stoffig vanwege de lange periode van droogte. Tot 30 augustus werd dagelijks alles goed schoon gemaakt. Na 30 augustus waren praktisch alle verhuuraccomodaties leeg en werd de service en het onderhoud minder. De toiletten en prullebakken werden drie dagen achter elkaar niet schoon gemaakt. Alhoewel volgens de informatie het zwembad na 1 september gesloten zou zijn was het toch nog steeds toegankelijk, wel werd het niet meer schoon gemaakt.

Een nadeel was ook dat tijdens ons verblijf door de week veel arbeiders in de verhuurcaravans woonden. Dit waren bouwvakkers die aan de snelweg in de buurt werkten. Veel drank en herrie, alhoewel de campingbeheerders daar wel alert op waren. Ook waren deze arbeiders al vroeg (6 uur) in de weer. De omgeving is prachtig!

De ontvangst was vriendelijk maar dat was dan ook het enige positieve voor ons. Er zijn veel vaste plekken die bezet werden door alleen maar mannen. Het zwembadwater was zo groen als gras. Dit was dus denk ik niet in gebruik. s 'Avonds om 11 uur gingen alle lichten uit en was het aarde donker op de camping. Dat gaf ons een onprettig gevoel.
