Reservering van ons en bevriende familie, die een week later kwamen, bleek niet te zijn gelukt. Ondanks bevestiging via email "pas de problem" en telefonisch contact. Maar aldaar kregen we 2 mooie plekken naast elkaar. Voordat onze vrienden arriveerden, wilde de camping hun toegezegde plaats 2x aan anderen vergeven. Dit hebben we moeizaam kunnen verkomen, met dank aan andere NL gasten die de Franse taal beter spraken. Ze spreken geen enkele vreemde taal. Bij problemen dus lastig. 1 Dag voordat vrienden arriveerden, heeft de camping de plaats toch aan anderen vergeven. Met veel problemen hebben we nog een andere plaats in onze buurt kunnen regelen. Wat ons met name stoorde, is de houding van het personeel: zij doen niks fout, geen sorry, de fout ligt volledig bij ons. De nachten waren opvallend onrustig voor kleine camping. Jammer, want de camping heeft potentieel. Zwembaden met glijbanen en omgeving erg mooi. We hebben gehoord dat de 3 sterren afgenomen zijn.

Les rivieres is een leuke camping om te verblijven. De ligging aan de rivier maar ook de verdere omgeving biedt genoeg mogelijkheden voor het ondernemen van activiteiten. De communicatie met het personeel en leiding bleek moeilijk. Indien je de franse taal niet machtig bent dan blijft er een "bepaalde" afstand bestaan met, vooral, de leiding. Administratief hebben we via email als via de post nooit een bevestiging gekregen van onze gevraagde reservering ondanks gepleegde telefoontjes. Het duurde vrij lang voordat de problemen met het lauwe/koude water opgelost waren. De karaoke en muziekavonden zijn gezellig en te combineren met een etentje op het terras. De overige avonden is het rustig. Brood is dagelijks, op bestelling, te krijgen. Prettig zou een klein winkeltje met basisvoorzieningen zijn. De kampeerplaatsen zijn ruim en schaduwrijk (let op de vruchtboompjes). De bezoekers kwamen uit zowel frankrijk, belgië als nederland maar ook engeland.
