Kunt na een bepaalde tijd van de dag niet meer met een pas betalen. Men accepteert dan alleen maar cash. Zeer klantonvriendelijk op dat moment en in deze tijd.

Mooie en goed onderhouden camping vlak bij het strand (400 meter lopen) met mooie plaatsen. Helaas bestaat het overgrote deel van de camping uit stacaravans e.d. Het sanitair is verouderd en niet alle gebouwtjes zijn in het voorseizoen geopend. Ik kan me wel voorstellen dat niet alle sanitair geopend zal zijn in het voorseizoen maar, een paar extra toiletten open kan ze de kop toch niet kosten? Het zwembad is groot en er zijn heel veel ligbedjes. Wel werd in een bassin veel chloor gebruikt terwijl in het andere bassin dit op een lager pitje stond. Het personeel in het zwembad was streng mbt. het dragen van shorts maar ook over meegebrachte flessen en voedsel, verdient een pluim. Op het terrein rijdt het personeel rond in elektrische karretjes, lekker stil en snel en snel reed men ook. Wij stonden bij een kruising van wegen op de camping en waren regelmatig getuige van bijna aanrijdingen met de elektrische karretjes. Dit aangegeven bij de receptie en men zou er wat mee doen, niet dus. Verder een bar, restaurant, pizzeria, campingwinkel en een kapper. PIN automaat naast de hoofdingang van de camping. Erg storend zijn de bandjes die gedragen "moeten" worden, deden wij niet aan mee en hebben daar ook niets over te horen gekregen. We hebben wel gezien dat anderen wel werden aangesproken op het niet dragen van bandjes. Ondanks het een fijne camping was zullen wij er niet meer heen gaan, te massaal.

Rustig gelegen camping zonder inspiratie in voorseizoen. De kampeerplaatsen zijn niet al te groot, wel voldoende. Fantastisch zwembadgedeelte met voldoende ligbedden, doch te weinig schaduw=vertrek om 16.00 uur als de Fransen met de tenen de neusvleugels proberen te raken. Het restaurant is redelijk. Mooie tocht langs de kust naar Spanje en heerlijke verse mosselen en oesters aan het noordelijk gelegen meer Leucate !!!! Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding door ACSI-kaart voorseizoen ruim voldoende.

Er is alleen mogelijk om tot 's ochtends 09.00 uur te betalen met een bank cart. Er wordt je een armbandje omgedaan voor het zwembad en naar afloop blijkt dat je hier
€8,00 voot moet betalen erg veel disco lawaai van andere campings. Klant onvriendelijk.

Wij stonden op plaats T02, dat is redelijk vooraan op de camping, waardoor je veel loop van mensen die naar het strand gaan of vice versa, langs je plaats hebt. Druk tot laat in de avond, op 26 en 27 augustus althans. Let op!! Ga vooral verderop op de camping op zoek naar een rustiger plek voor je caravan/tent. Ook als ze je die bij de receptie niet meteen aanbieden. Want er is veel meer plek! Tenzij je natuurlijk van de drukte houdt. Maar die was voor ons niet zo handig met een jonge baby. De pizza's waren voor campingpizza's lekker! Ook de koffie bij het ontbijt op het terras was heerlijk.
Het zwembad was, net als het strand, overvol. Voor ons met een baby niet te doen. Het strand is op loopafstand, 5 minuten. Over het campingterrein, of langs de weg. Torreilles zelf is even rijden met de auto, maar leuk. Zeker een aanrader is de kustweg langs Collioure, Port Vendres en even verder rijden naar Spanje! Leuke plaatsjes voor het authentieke vakantiegevoel.
