Prachtig gelegen. Op 1 minuut loopafstand van winkels. Slechts 5 minuten fietsen van groot warenhuis. Zeer rustig, een echte aanrader. Centraal gelegen voor uitstappen.

Mooie camping in een natuurlijke omgeving. Er zijn ruime plaatsen direct aan de rivier de Dordogne, waarin je niet alleen mensen ziet vissen maar ook reigers. Grenst direct aan een prachtige dorpje, waar heerlijk eten en ontspannen een glaasje drinken top zijn. Omdat wij er in het voorseizoen waren, was het restaurant en het zwembad nog niet in gebruik. Je wordt er in het Vlaams toegesproken door een lieftallige receptioniste. Wij hebben er ondanks de hellingen goed kunnen fietsen en wandelen.

Het is een prima camping met aardig personeel voor zover dit in september is te beoordelen. Plekken aan het water kunnen door wind over het water wat fris zijn, maar zeer mooi. Voor met name de vliegvisser is dit een paradijs. Je kunt zo vanaf je plek het water inlopen om de forel en vlagzalm achter de schubben aan te zitten. Het dit deel van de Dordogne is echter wel een no kill zone. Ook in september zag de camping er nog goed onderhouden uit. Het zwembad is wat aan de kleine kant, maar lekker om af te koelen. De Dordogne is niet om te zwemmen, daar is het water te koud voor. De camping lig tegen het practige plaatsje Beaulieu aan en in de omgeving zijn ook verschillende leuke dingen te bezoeken zoals b.v. Collonges la Rouge, een dorpje waar wegen, huizen etc allen rood gekleurd zijn. Kortom een camping die het waard is om een keer aan te doen.

Leuke camping op een eiland in een mooi oud stadje. Wel veel watergeluid van de rivier waar je tegen moet kunnen. De camping is behoorlijk ruim van opzet en er zijn geen afgebakende plaatsen.

Schöner Platz in herrlicher Landschaft, guter Schatten, die Nähe zur Ortsmitte von dem wunderschönen Beaulieu ist einfach fantastisch.
