Route:

A20, at Limoges exit 35, D979 in the direction of Eymoutiers. Then take the D940 in the direction of Bugeat. After Lacelle take the D940 in the direction of Treignac. Before Treignac take the D16 in the direction of Lestards. Signposted 1 km past Lestards.

Op aanraden van een vriend van ons hebben we in september Le Fayard bezocht.
Dit is voor ons een "omrijcamping" geworden omdat het een camping is die niet al te groot is maar wel ruime plaatsen heeft. Een zwembad met eigen bronwater. Een schitterende ligging in de natuur. Een gezellige bar en een kokkin die van wanten weet. We hadden daar een uitstekend 4-gangenmenu voor 19.50. Niet goedkoop dat weten we, maar kwaliteit heeft een prijs. En ook ruime porties, dat hebben we wel eens anders meegemaakt. De Nederlandse eigenaren doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken.
Een als laatste maar niet het minste : je kunt er ongelofelijk (met de honden) mooi naturistisch wandelen
in 24 hectare bos met beekjes enz . + nog 20 hectare bos zonder paden .

Wij kwamen toevallig op deze camping door deze uit het kortingsboekje te kiezen. Het bleek bij aankomst dat we eigenaars van vroeger uit Spijkenisse kenden en altijd al een keer naar deze camping wilden gaan naar aanleiding van krantenartikel uit 2001.
Het is erg goed bevallen, erg stil mooie omgeving om te wandelen of een trainingsronde op de racefiets met mijn zoon te doen.
Het Bronwater is heerlijk om te drinken en om in te zwemmen.
Het gezamenlijk eten op de camping is zeker ook aan te bevelen.
De open haard is in het naseizoen ook erg lekker en gezellig.
Wij zullen zeker meerdere keren terug komen.

Zeer vriendelijke ontangst op ruime plaatsen en niets is teveel voor de eigenaars.
Camping om terug voor te komen.

Camping midden in de natuur met alle faciliteiten. Hele aardige beheerders. Voor mensen die van rust, wandelen en sportieve activiteiten houden met of zonder kinderen.

Vriendelijke ontvangst,mooie staaplaats. Rustige omgeving mooi wandel gebied. Ver van de bewoonde wereld, ook voor boodschappen te doen. Mooi zwembad met bronwater.
