Route:

From the A31, exit 28 dir. Pont-à-Mousson on the D910, continue onto D910B, then D958, then D3 dir. Rupt de Mad as far as Thiancourt/Regniéville. Then D28 to Jaulny, follow camping signs.

Met de camping is verder niks mis, maar in tegenstelling tot de vermelding in de gids waren er geen levensmiddelen verkrijgbaar. Met de fiets, soms aan de hand vanwege de hellingen, 25 minuten naar het dorp dus. Ook het restaurant gaat soms een dag zo maar dicht en er is weinig in de buurt verder.
Als je daar tevoren rekening mee houdt, hebben wij ons aan de trein niet gestoord en hebben er rustig gestaan.

Prachtige camping, met na het passeren van de TGV (dat went!) een oorverdovende stilte. Wij stonden, met nog twee caravans op het grote veld in de zin (schaduw maken we zelf wel! Prima zwembad. Van het restaurant hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt. Wel heel vriendelijk personeel.

Veel kabaal van TGV en twee (!) andere treinverbindingen. plaatsen zijn goed maar er is een aantal vaste gasten die zich nadrukklijk met je bemoeien. Zeer walgelijk santair.

Afgelopen zomer hebben wij een huisje gehuurd op deze camping; huisje Mistral. Aangekomen in het huisje constateerden wij een zeer muffe lucht, was de douchestang kapot en liep het doucheputje niet door. Na hier iets van gezegd te hebben werd dit verholpen. Alleen de muffe geur bleef. Na een aantal dagen werd ons duidelijk waar de muffe geur vandaan kwam. De temperatuur steeg en daarmee de groei van schimmel in het huisje. De schimmelgroei vond plaats in alle ruimtes van het huisje. Was dus echt heel vies. Wij en onze baby van toen 7 weken zijn hoestend en proestend weer naar huis gegaan. Tevens wil ik nog aangeven dat het lawaai welke de TGV maakt, die ongeveer 100 meter naast de camping raast, zeer luid is.

ACSI beschrijft deze camping met een goed restaurant. Dat is beslist veel te veel gezegd. Het restaurant heeft amper keus, is duur en beslist niet goed te noemen: het voorgerecht bestond uit een tomaat, gesneden met een drupje onduidelijke saus. Weinig tot vrijwel geen keus. Erg duur. Wijn ook erg duur. Mag de naam restaurant eigenlijk niet dragen!
