A really well-appointed site with large hedged emplacements and a mixture of shaded areas set in the middle of an apparently well-used and beautifully tended Sporting Complex.  Sanitary block is superbly maintained and has good facilities. Free Wi-fi point is near gate at Bar Area and available at fixed times during the day.
The walk to town (out of the gate and then cut through the playing fields to the river) is about 20 minutes gentle amble. Try to be there on Thursday for the market which is really comprehensive with glorious local food.
Reception was efficient and business-like throughout to foreigners...

Unimpressive approach past local sports stadium but site itself is a real gem and one that we will return to again and again. Most pitches are spacious and all have some shade. Ours was huge! There is a water tap and EHU by each pitch. Sanitary blocks had ample showers, wash basins and toilets and were always clean, always plenty of hot water. Small shop in reception for basics. The Monday soiree (high season only) is an evening not to be missed with superb food and unforgettable entertainment by Bruno and co. Villefranche is a delightful medieval town a 10 min walk from the site along the river. Visiting the Thursday market in the centre of town is a must. Le Petit Train calls at the site every market day for a novel way into town. Lots to see and do in area. Chartreuse St Sauveur, Belcastel, Grotte de Pech Merles, Najac and Cord de Ciel to name a few places.

Zonder meer een uitstekende camping, goed verzorgd, heel goed sanitair. De plaatsen zijn vlak en allemaal voorzien van elektro en waterpunt. De meeste zijn ruim en hebben voldoende schaduw- en zonplekken. De beheerders zijn zeer attent en behulpzaam, steeds bereid tot advies en service. Brood kan worden besteld aan de receptie. De stad Villefranche is te voet te bereiken in ongeveer 20 minuten. In de buurt liggen drie grote supermarkten. Donderdagochtend is er in de stad een leuke markt. In het hoogseizoen is het zwembadje van de camping open, maar naast de camping ligt een vrij groot zwembadcomplex, met restaurant. Korting voor campinggasten. Villefranche heeft een aantal leuke restaurants. Wij hebben twee maal prima gegeten in L'Epicurien. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien, een grote site als Conques - bijvoorbeeld - ligt op rij-afstand. Wij komen in ieder geval graag nog eens terug !
