Route:

From St. Cricq take the D654 towards Monbrun. After about 2 km turn left, signposted from here. From L'Isle-Jourdain 12 km towards Cologne on the D654 signposted on the right hand side.

Wat een gezellige camping!! Vriendelijke eigenaar die met zijn beste engels ons een mooie plek kon geven! Wij stonden bij een oud sanitair gebouw maar overal op het terrein was het voldoende en netjes.
Aan het meer was het goed toeven en de barkeeper(s) sloofden zich ook vreselijk uit.
Men was vriendelijk voor de kinderen en er mocht veel. Het liep niet uit de hand!!

Af en toe life muziek of een karaoke, de avonden en nachten waren rustig.

Camping Lac de Thoux is een rustige camping met grote standplaatsen. Een gedeelte van de camping is ingericht met stacaravans.
De beheerders zijn vriendelijk en doen er alles aan het de kampeerders naar het zin te maken. De streek is niet toeristisch. De beheerders zelf spreken frans en een paar woorden engels.
Pal naast decamping is een goed restaurant en een snackbar.
Men heeft grootse plannen om volgend jaar een groot zwembad te bouwen met een aantal grote glijbanen. Overigens kun je prima zwemmen in het meer. In juli was de temperatuur van het water 27 graden.
Voor de boodschappen moet je naar Lílse Jourdain, ongeveer 10 km verderop. Daar is een hele grote supermarkt. Op de camping zelf kun je dagelijks je brood bestellen.
Kortom een mooie camping voor degene die rust zoekt en waarschijnlijk in de toekomst ook voor gezinnen met kinderen. Op dit moment is er voor de iets oudere jeugd nog weinig vertier.
