At the time of year we stayed, there were few campers and it had the atmosphere of camping in someone's back garden. The Dutch owners were very hospitable and welcomed us back to the site each day. The sanitary block was in the process of being refurbished, and as it was taking longer than expected, we were given the use of a spare chalet instead. Unfortunately, the first night some people staying in the chalets mistook the campers' one for theirs, which meant we had no facilities at all after 10pm. In the morning we were given use of the gite bathroom, and thereafter another chalet bathroom. The surrounding area is pleasant, but with less interesting places to visit than we had expected. There was a bullfighting festival in the village the weekend we were there, with a lot of the participants staying at the campsite in chalets. However apart from one night when they had a big party, the campsite was quiet and relaxing. Wifi worked well, but wasn't free.

Fantastische camping met heel aardige uitbaters. De uitbaatster heeft veel goeie tips voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Ook kookt ze prima 3-gangen (bio) menu's.
Op kleine loopafstand is een wijncoöperatie waar je goedkope lekkere wijn kunt kopen.
Kortom, was erg naar ons zin. We gaan zeker weer heen!

Hebben daar zeer genoten van de rust, de kinderen hebben zich de hele dag goed vermaakt. Er zijn trampolines, een tafelvoetbalspel en nog wat kleinere speeltoestellen.

Mooie kleine camping ongeveer de helft van de gasten was Nederlands veel met kinderen onder 12. Onze zoons van 5 en 8 hebben zich een hele week uitstekend vermaakt met groep vriendjes. Hannie en Arie zijn heel gastvrij, je kunt s´avonds voor weinig geld aanschuiven voor een heerlijke maaltijd. Larresingleis aan te raden voor ouders en kinderen, leuke Middeleeuws strijdkamp waar de kinderen als ridder kunnen rondlopen.

Wij hebben enorm genoten op de camping. Wij zijn een gezin met een zoontje die zich er de hele dag heeft vermaakt.Volgend jaar zouden we naar Duitsland gaan maar we hebben toch besloten om weer terug te gaan naar deze camping. Ook de omgeving is heel mooi met leuke dingen om te doen en te bekijken. Een aanrader.
