The general setting is nice - in a park not far from town. The guide specifically noted the cleanliness of the toilet block. We found quite the opposite. We only spent 2 nights there but for that time the block was almost constantly dirty.
The pool didn't interest us, however the family on the next plot were not happy as it was much smaller than they had thought from the photo.
The site has an upper tier and a lower tier which banks a river. The lighting in half the lower tier is very poor and while we were there the fence dividing the site from the park was broken allowing many people a short-cut to to and from the park. However, the first night we were there our tent was slashed while we were sleeping. 7 slashes before the thief found a carkey (which was well hidden) and stole a bag from the car. The alarm fob was hidden elsewhere, so the alarm sounded and he got one bag (with camera n netbook!)
