Plaatsnummers niet goed te vinden als ze er al zijn. Meegekregen plaatsnummer bleek al bezet te zijn en dat gold voor meerdere kampeerders. De zeer lage prijs vergoedt dat wel maar wat meer duidelijkheid over plaatsen en bijhouden plaatsbezetting zou de camping sieren. Gravelines en Grand Fort zijn leuk in aanloop naar Franse vakantiebestemming.

Kleiner gemütlicher Platz direkt an den Dünen gelegen am Ortsrand von Fort Philippe / Gravelines. Mitarbeiter und Leitung sehr nett und hilfsbereit, allerdings Französischkenntnisse von Vorteil da sehr wenig D / E gesprochen wird. Verpflegung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Fort Philippe (ca. 1 km). Platzeigener Zugang zu den Dünen mit sehr feinem und sauberen Sandstrand (von Muscheln und Quallen ausgenommen). Zugang zum Wasser je nach Tidenstand, bei Ebbe bis zu 500 m. Gebiet gut geeignet zum Schwimmen, Strandsurfen und Drachen steigen. Freizeitangebote in der Umgebung: Sport in Fort Philippe (Sportica), Meereskundemuseum (Nausicaä) in Bolougne (ca 60 km), Stadtbummel in Calais oder Dünkirchen (je ca 30 km). Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung: E 40 aus Belgien (gebührenfrei), Bus nach Dünkirchen, Zug ab Calais / Dünkirchen Europaweit via Eurostar bzw. TGV / Thalys.
