Drive from Nantes to Noirmoutier. Cross the bridge to the island (or the Gois when the water is below sea level). At the roundabout turn in the direction of 'La Guérinière'. Camp site is situated immediately on the roundabout.

De camping was in deze tijd (begin september) nog behoorlijk bezet. Toch werd er een sanitairgebouw gesloten. Erg dominant zijn de verhuurtenten; daardoor zijn er weinig caravanplaatsen over. Sanitair is prima. Minpunt is dat de centrale afvalplaats helemaal bij de ingang is. Waait er stevig, weinig beschutting. Camping heeft nu kennelijk 5 sterren. Waar die op gebaseerd zijn is niet helemaal duidelijk. Gratis internet, zo vanuit je caravan.

Ici, on ne pense pas au campeur, mais au compte en banque du camping. Le tarif affiché n'est réel. On vous facture en plus 25€ pour des "frais de dossier" sur internet ou par téléphone lors de la réservation. Personne n'est capable de vous expliquer à quoi cela correspond.
Tout est surfacturé. Malheur à vous si vous avez un bébé, il faudra prévoir un supplément. Sur place, personnel invisible, équipements minimums. Les jeux pour enfants sont sont branlants et ridicules pour la capacité du camping. Piscine de la taille d'un mouchoir.
Les tentes sont défraichies.... Les unes sur les autres.
On sent la volonté d'empiler les campeurs pour faire de l'argent.
Quand au côté écolo, il se limite au tri sélectif. Là aussi, une promesse non tenue.
Bref, une belle arnaque.

De camping is druk, kleine plaatsen voor de tenten vlak op elkaar. Het is er lawaaierig, maar vooral is het sanitair vies. Het wordt nauwelijks schoongemaakt.
Wij gaan hier nooit meer naar toe.

Deze camping is in werkelijkheid nogal anders dan de plaatjes en beschrijving op de website doen vermoeden. De standplaatsen zijn klein en staan vlak op elkaar, meestal zonder afscheiding. Het zwembad is klein en zit propvol met gillende kinderen, waardoor zwemmen onmogelijk is.
Grootste minpunt echter is het sanitair. Dat is ronduit smerig en wordt nauwelijks schoongemaakt. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is zoek.
De omgeving en de directe toegang tot het strand zijn ideaal. Maar al bij is camping Les Moulins een absolute afrader.

Hier waren wir sofort willkommen. Unkompliziert in der Anmeldung und auch bei der Abrechnung.
Bei einigen Stellplätzen ist es nicht möglich, mit dem Wohnmobil rauf zu fahren (Sand).
