Drive from Nantes to Noirmoutier. Cross the bridge to the island (or the Gois when the water is below sea level). At the roundabout turn in the direction of 'La Guérinière'. Camp site is situated immediately on the roundabout.

Een leuke camping vlak aan zee. Even een klein duintje over en je bent aan het strand. Ook is er een mooie baai. Hier is bij laag water veel te vissen, zoals schelpdieren en garnalen. Op de camping staan geen mobilhomes meer. De plaatsen zijn ruim. Er zijn plaatsen met veel schaduw, zonder schaduw en alles ertussenin. Ook is er een supermarkt naast de camping. Wandelen naar het dorp is mogelijk. Op het eiland is het lekker fietsen. Passage du Gois is een beleving. Dat is de route door zee naar het continent.

Men is er vriendelijk en behulpzaam en ze proberen het iedereen naar de zin te maken. Het sanitair is erg gedateerd maar schoon. Volgend jaar staat er nieuw sanitair volgens de eigenaar. Deze schone camping ligt in de duinen, gelijk aan zee. De omgeving leent zich er goed voor om te fietsen en te wandelen. Het zwembad is voorzien van ligbedden met kussens. We komen hier nog terug.

Mooi gelegen camping in de duinen. Schone wc .Vriendelijke ontvangst. Prijs niet duur t.o.v. de camping. Rustig in het voorjaar. Ruime plaatsen ,mooi strand. Een aanrader voor de 50 +. Komen er zeker weer.

Onze vaste stek op Noirmoutier (waar we kind aan den huize zijn sedert 1984). Leuke camping vanwege het in het voorjaar reeds verwarmde zwembad en ligging aan oceaankant. Ligt centraal van het eiland en brengt daardoor alles op comfortabele fiets- en wandelafstand. Nourmoutier is voor ons steeds weer een beetje thuiskomen!
