This was an off the cuff choice, but a worthy 3 night visit. It is a small compact basic municipal campsite. Well maintained. The office hours for information are limited, but we were plied with some information at reception; passport required. Gypsies were camped just up the road, so the entrance gates were always opened by key. A large supermarket is practically on the doorstep and the tired and run-down village is just round the corner. It is champagne country, but I doubt if champagne is on the family grocery list. The pitches are parcelled up adequately and relatively private, although for the first night were were hemmed in by young French workers and a large Polish family, who appeared to be heavily monitored by the managers when they finally moved on the next day. I think it is an underestimated campsite and useful for short visits to the area. Mastercard not accepted - paid cash
