Prettige doortrekkerscamping met broodjesservice in de morgen. Bushalte naar Amiens voor de deur, op slechts 25 minuten rijden. De tijden zijn terug te vinden bij de receptie.

Even in June the toilet facilities were stretched. Pitches were generally small and units often were much too close together for safety. On two occassions, motor homes, seeking level ground, pitched within an arms span of our caravan. Privacy was limited for those two nights. We stayed on this site two years ago and traffic noise (locals on motor bikes and souped-up cars!) had increased considerably. Amiens, whilst still a beautiful place was sadly much more graffitied and vandalised.

Aan de rand van Amiens ligt camping Parc des Cygnes. De camping is netjes en verzorgd. Vanaf de camping kun je leuke wandeltochten maken. Het centrum van Amiens is per fiets of auto goed te bereiken. Ook kun je te voet langs het kanaal naar het centrum.

We hebben deze camping op doorreis bezocht. Dit was niet de eerste keer. Het is een goede camping, niet ver van de rocade (rondweg Amiens). Het sanitair is ook in oktober nog goed. Dit terwijl de camping nog maar een week open zou zijn. Bij slecht weer op het asfalt blijven staan. In het voor - en naseizoen moet je wel op tijd binnen zijn, anders is de poort gesloten en het personeel naar huis. Anders moet je proberen om een kampeerder te vinden die de poort opendoet.

Camping plaatsen rond "pleintjes" links en rechts van hoofdweg. Mooie ruime plaatsen, met grotere caravan goed te manouvreren. Goed en voldoende sanitair.
