There are positives and negatives to this site.
Positive - Great location near the town of La Flotte, only 1,5 km away. Lovely new swimming pool area and dressing rooms. Washing up areas neat and tidy with warm water. Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic location if you want to cycle around the island. Proper toilets as we have in the UK and they were kept clean. A special area to wash and prepare fish and shellfish outside the toilets.
Negatives - No grass on pitches, so looks unattractive and there is always dirt being carried in. Under pine trees that drop sap and huge cones onto your vehicle van. Noisy road right next to site. Mixed toilets for gents and ladies with urinals in plain view!! This is not nice! Even more awful was that the chemical toilet disposal is in one of the toilet cubicles, creating awful smells if someone empties a casette while you are using the loo. The bins are a fair walk away as they are located at the site entrance. Lighting not good on site roadways.

Een fijne camping, vooral voor gezinnen met kinderen tot 10 jaar. Sanitair is niet verouderd en wordt goed schoon gehouden. De plekken zijn over het algemeen niet groot, maar als je bij boeking de afmetingen van je tent, caravan ect doorgeeft wordt daar goed rekening mee gehouden. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijke mensen die ook goed Engels spreken. Er komen redelijk veel Nederlanders op de camping, wat wij vooral voor onze kinderen een groot voordeel vonden.

Arrivee par hazard mais très bien reçus, tout de suite chercher un emplacement et nous avons trouver un très bon suivi de la direction sur le camping

Wij hebben 10-weken (mei/juni/juli) op deze fantastische gezinscamping doorgebracht en ons geen moment verveeld. Bijzonder aardige en gastvrije eigenaren en medewerksters die gezamenlijk alles in het werk stellen voor een fijn verblijf op hun camping. Ieder jaar is er wel iets vernieuwd of verbeterd. Wij zijn benieuwd wat zij voor het volgend jaar in petto hebben. Vlak voor ons vertrek toonde Eric ons vol trots dat de camping tijdens ons verblijf was opgewaardeerd van drie naar vier sterren. Zeer terecht vinden wij.

The pitches are marked by small white stones. Unfortunately some campers do not ahdere to the lines, if you have a problem tell the owner and he will sort it out. The campsite is excellent and the pool deserves a mark of 11, it is absolutely suberb. The take-away food is extremely good value. The owners work extremely hard to make sure everything is A1. La Flotte is a pleasant 15 minutes stroll away.
