I am from Canada (the French part of it) and this camping is one of the best we know in France. We have been in a lot of parts of this country and never found a place like it. It is surrounded by water, we can practice hicking and at no more than 15 minutes from Cognac by foot. A small paradise. By the way, we have been their in the 90's and the 2000's in june, jully, august and even in september, always a nice place to relax and have a nice time

Niet al te grote plaatsen met of alleen volle zon of alleen volledige schaduw. Ondanks volledig bezette camping bleven een aantal toiletten continu op slot, zodat je regelmatig in de rij stond te wachten voor het toilet. De ruimte met het babybadje in een van de 2 toiletgebouwen gaf slechts koud water en hier werd niets aan gedaan. We hebben hier een halve week gestaan. Verder ben ik niet erg kieskeurig, maar op deze camping zien ze mij niet meer terug.

Als extra aandachtspunt voor de beheerders zou ik willen adviseren tijdens het weekend van de Blues Passion (eind juli/hoogseizoen) niet alle kampeerplaatsen vol te reserveren voor de bezoekers aan dit festival, maar ook een paar plaatsen beschikbaar te houden voor "reguliere" kampeerders die langer dan die paar dagen zouden willen blijven. Nu zijn heel veel mensen weggestuurd van deze camping, die later natuurlijk niet meer teruggekomen zijn.

Sanitair is op zich van redelijke kwaliteit. Het schoonhouden en -maken van de wasruimtes en toiletten laat te wensen over. Vuil hoopt zich in kieren, richels e.d op. Ook de spinnewebben blijven gewoon intact.

Wij zijn deze zomer 7 dagen op deze camping geweest.Het is een zeer rustige en verzorgde camping. Het personeel is vriendelijk en het sanitair wordt goed onderhouden.
