Strand is nauwelijks een meter breed (geen tij verschil). De rust wordt verstoord door vliegtuigen en vooral de TGV!

Eén midweek met caravan geweest in september. Behoorlijk campingzwembad met waterglijbaantje en directe ligging aan het meer. De meeste plekken zijn bungalows en rest zijn toerplaatsen. De 6 plaatsen die beschikbaar zijn voor acsi kaarthouders hebben beperkte schaduw, overige plaatsen wel veel schaduw. De campingsteiger aan de binnenzee is in vervallen staat en geeft het zwemgeheel daardoor een verlopen aanblik. Wel goede kano's en waterfietsen te huur en boothelling aanwezig. Tennis/basketbal is vervallen.
Meermalen per uur laag (+/- 800 meter) overkomende vliegtuigen en camping ligt aan weg en treinrails dus wel geluidsoverlast maar dat went toch vrij snel. Sanitair is eenvoudig, wel compleet, inclusief wasmachine en droger. Brood was elke dag te bestellen voor de volgende ochtend. Omgeving is nogal saai en weinig bezienswaardig. Personeel is wel behulpzaam.

Na het lezen van alle aanwezige faciliteiten in de gids hebben wij een week op deze camping gestaan,jammer was dat het enige positieve het weer was,en er stonden nog een aantal landgenoten ook voor de eerste keer om de zelfde redenen want bijna alles wat de ACSI gids beloofde was niet aanwezig,omdat de camping 5 km van het dorp St.Chamas lag,was het dus jammer dat er geen brood besteld kon worden,geen bar,geen pizzeria,geen levensmiddelen verkrijgbaar waren en navraag leerde dat het restaurant al 5 jaar dicht was,en bij het afrekenen bleek dat het alleen contant kon,het beheerders echtpaar was echter vriendelijk ,en liep bij aankomst met ons mee om te helpen uit de nog vrije plekken een mooie plek uit te zoeken,verder maakten de aanwezige hollanders zoveel mogelijk zelf het sanitair schoon,zodat het toch nog gezellig was.En omdat wij met de hond waren ,kon je langs het meer wel een paar km lopen en de hond kon ook lekker in het meer zwemmen.

Geen mogelijkheid het chemisch toilet in een daarvoor voorzien plaats te ledigen. Volgens beschrijving zou snackbar, afhaalmaaltijden, levensmiddelen, pizzeria en restaurant geopend wat niet zo was, zelf brood moet men 6 km verder gaan halen.
