Een mooie camping met veel hoogteverschil in een prachtige omgeving en dichtbij leuke plaatsjes in een mooie natuur. Heel rustig.

3 weken gekampeerd met onze De Waard. Geen overbodige luxe want het kan er soms flink waaien. Ook kan het incidenteel regenen en onweren en dan is het ook gelijk prijs ook en blijft het hangen tussen de bergen. Door de soms niet vlakke plekken spoelt het dan onder je grondzeil door. Wel weer snel droog. Ook 's morgens geen vochtigheid. Sanitair is prima, toilet papier aanwezig, meer malen per dag gereinigd, bij nat weer op indicatie vaker. Eigenaar is super. Erg betrokken en prima gids voor het sportievere mountainbiken. Soms overschat hij zijn mede bikers wat en kiest de meest waanzinnige afdalingen uit. Je verlegd wel je grenzen zeg maar. Animatie volop zonder overheersend aanwezig te zijn. Voor kinderen tot 13 jaar prima, de ouderen (pubers) zullen in de omgeving weinig aan uitgaansgelegenheden vinden. Minder geschikt voor minder validen in verband met hoogte verschillen, trappen en sanitair. Geweldig uitzicht over het dal vanaf het bovenste gedeelte van de camping. Eten heel behoorlijk.

Inderdaad mooie ligging, prachtig uitzicht. Met de caravan wel een flinke klim over een smalle weg. Op de camping ook veel hoogte-verschil, ook op de plaatsen zelf. Sanitair op het bovenste deel vrij gedateerd, maar wel prima en schoon. Camping is een aanrader. Niet te groot, maar wel goede faciliteiten. Wel erg heet gehad in juli en soms een behoorlijke wind.

Heerlijk, schone lucht, mooi plekken, prachtig uitzicht en die giraffe gaat 's nachts ook slapen. Dus geen geluidsoverlast. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug.

Wij gaan hier volgend jaar zeker naar terug om nog meer van de prachtige omgeving te verkennen.
