We arrived to this campsite after a long and hot day of travelling through Southern Germany. The welcoming was overwhelming with typical live Tirol bompa-bompa music - there was a summer party going on in the beer tent this very evening. Some might find the music disturbing, but we enjoyed the jolly atmosphere and after parking the caravan and put the children in bed, we could sit outside in the fresh air, children sleeping and enjoying the splendid view and Allgëu and beer from a little night open cafe just next to our spot. The camping pitch was very nice with a hedge, some trees, and close to the little beautiful lake. The toilet facilities were superb, fresh and well suited for families with children. There were a nice playground, clear, warm and shallow lake for bathing. We had a great day at the Neuschwannstein Castle, and all and all we liked the place so much we stayed an extra day to enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We'd be glad to come back!

We were there for 2 days. Very good camping for visiting of great castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Very nice view to the mountains. Good restaurant with delicious foods. It's a place, where you can spend more time with hiking or just walking in the beautiful little towns. You must see it!
