De camping was goed en centraal gelegen, grote kampeerplaatsen, vriendelijk onthaal, maar de sanitaire voorzieningen lieten te wensen over, werd niet voldoende gepoetst en ook de douches waren zeer klein.

Prima camping met grote staanplaatsen. Er wordt veel georganiseerd door de camping, op pad met de jager, glasblazen, bierbrouwerij, silvermijn bezoeken, diverse activiteiten op de camping voor groot en klein en gratis gebruik zwembad en openbaarvervoer. De omgeving is prachtig en bied vele mogelijkheden voor wandeltochten en dagjes uit. Restaurtant op de camping is prima en niet duur.

In zentraler Lage des Bayerischen Wald gelegener Campingplatz, sehr ruhig. Teils veraltete aber stets saubere Sanitäreinrichtungen. Zuvorkommende und nette Platzverwaltung. Nach längerem Regen war ein Verlassen des Platzes ohne fremde Hilfe (UNIMOG) nicht möglich.
