Der Campingplatz liegt wunderschön in einem Tal direkt am Bach. Die vorbeiführende Bundesstraße hat mich nicht gestört. Wanderwege sind reichlich direkt ab Platz erreichbar, die schöne Stadt Monschau in ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Leider ist Monschau selbst ein wenig kitschig (nur Touristenläden - keine "normalen Geschäfte"), auch beim Campingplatz fehlt ein wenig der letzte Handgriff. Eigentlich sehr schön, man vermisst aber ein wenig das Liebevolle. Stellplätze sind im vorderen Teil relativ klein, jetzt in der NS durch die vielen freien Nebenplätze aber ausreichend. Also: Sanitär war sauber und ordentlich; 2 Duschen könnten in der HS aber zu wenig sein; leider einige unordentliche Lagerplätze am Platz-und zwar dort, wo sie eigentlich nicht hingehören. Platz ist dennoch zu empfehlen.

Besuch zu Ostern (sehr kalt), leider erst am 3. Tag auf meine Frage hin die Heizung im Dusch- und Toilettenhaus angestellt. War echt kalt, mich wunderts allerdings, daß ich angeblich die einzige war, die was gesagt hat. Angekommen am 4.4., leider war das REstaurant noch zu. Wir hatten uns aber drauf eingestellt, abends zu essen, es gab im Internet aber keinen Hinweis. Mein Fazit: leider kein CP zum Wiederkommen.

Prachtig mooie camping, ligging is echt top. Het eten is niks bijzonders. Eén vaste prijs dus geen hoog/laagseizoen.

Möchte mich den positiven bewertungen gerne anschliessen. Selbst bei grosser hektik (brückentag) hatte der betreiber zeit und muss uns zu beraten und eine angenehme athmosphäre zu schaffen. Werden sicher auch wegen der wandermöglichkeiten wieder vorbeischauen.

Perlenau is een kleine gezellige leuke terrassencamping met hele mooie staanplaatsen aan het beekje.
De beheerder was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het sanitair mag wat beter gepoetst en onderhouden worden.
Al met al hebben we een leuke overnachting gehad met ons campertje.
