De camping heeft een nieuwe uitbater. Hij en zijn echtgenote doen echt hun best. Ze waren altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Vroeger zou het een onverzorgde camping geweest zijn, maar daar merkten wij niets van. Het sanitair was net. Het groen (gras, struiken, bomen, beek e.d. werden onderhouden en heraangelegd toen wij er waren (wel even wat lawaaihinder). De speeltuinen moeten nog worden vernieuwd en uitgebouwd. Er is een prachtig ingekaderd meertje met een ondiep gedeelte voor kleine kinderen, banken, strandje..Je kunt er ijsjes, drank, frieten, vers brood, melk enz. kopen, gratis ijsblokken laten invriezen,badminton- of tafeltennisrackets lenen, beachvolleybal spelen (voor de kinderen is dit een grote zandbak). Je kunt in het restaurant (met terras) eenvoudig maar lekker eten terwijl de kroost zich op de schommel uitleeft. De omgeving is prachtig: de gebroeders Grimm vertelden hier hun sprookjes, de bossen zijn interactief voor kinderen, er zijn wildparken, mooie stadjes.. Echt de moeite!
