Plezierig, goed onderhouden. Omgeving leent zich voor fietstochten. Het hele natuurgebied is aantrekkelijk.

Wir haben mit unserem Hund drei schöne Wochen hier verbracht. Da es die meiste Zeit leider regnete, war nicht baden sondern wandern angesagt. Es gibt hier wunder-schöne Wanderwege. Die etwas weitere
Umgebung lohnt sich ebenfalls mit dem Auto zu erkunden, auch in kultureller Hinsicht (Museen, Schlösser etcetrea). Wer die Ruhe liebt dem ist der Platz sehr zu empfehlen.

Der Platz verfügt über eine ruhige Lage und die Stellplätze sind unparzelliert. Im Umkreis steht ein umfangreiches, kulturelles und sportliches Angebot zur Verfügung. Jeweils 1,5 - 2,5 Stunden von Berlin und der Ostsee entfernt, ist der Platz auch guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge. Für geschichtsinteressierte gibt es in der näheren Umgegend vieles zu entdecken. Angenehme Mischung aus Dauercampern und Feriengästen. Der See ist zudem für Boote mit Verbrennungsmotor gesperrt, Tierbeobachtungen gut möglich, da er direkt an den Nationalpark anggrenzt.

Platz ist mitten im Wald am See (Havel), wird gern auch von Wasserwanderer angesteuert, Platz ist ruhig und sauber, Sanitäranlagen sind Tip-Top, es gibt zahlreiche Radwege durch die Wälder, viele Dauercamper, auf dem Hauptplatz Havelberg ist ein Kletterwald, hier sollte man aber vorher Reservieren.
