De ligging van deze camping is ideaal: aan de ene kant tegen het dorp en aan de andere kant in de natuur in de vorm van de rivier de Prüm en een bos. De communicatie met de kampleiding verloopt moeizaam omdat de receptie slechts bepaalde tijden open is en men moet aanbellen om binnen te komen. Het douchen geschiedt met munten (men betaalt daarom €0,50 p.p. per dag minder aan overnachtingskosten). De duur van het douchen is echter vrij kort en de automaat hangt buiten de douche! Honden kunnen hier prima uitgelaten worden, aan het eind van de camping loopt men rechtdoor, vervolgens een bruggetje over en aan de andere kant van de rivier weer terug. Wij kampeerden hier één week in september. Het was lekker rustig en ook waren er weinig vaste gasten. Het gras was tamelijk lang en werd helaas niet gemaaid. De omgeving is prachtig en er zijn interessante dingen te zien en te bezoeken zoals b.v. Teufelsschlucht, Mahnmal en museum en diverse watervallen.

Personeel: Niet altijd beschikbaar.
Sanitair: regelmatig storingen met douchemunt automaten, waarom niet gewoon douchen in de prijs meenemen, douchemuntjes is toch niet meer van deze tijd. Boven nog steeds wastafels met enkel koudwater.
P/K verhouding: wij vinden dit redelijk duur, in vergelijking tot andere campings met gratis douches en zwembad op camping terrein betaalden wij evenveel. Kampeerplaats: ruim en vrij te kiezen, ook in het hoog seizoen niet te krap maar ruim voldoende, echter niet altijd een koudwaterkraan in de buurt. Accomadatie: nvt. Kindvriendelijkheid: klein speeltuintje maar kinderen vermaken zich met wat er aanwezig is en met andere kinderen, dus oke. Zeker wanneer de kinderen kunnen zwemmen kunnen zij zich dagen vermaken in het riviertje dat langs de camping stroomt. Entertainment: nvt Sportfac: nvt Zwembad: nvt, ook het gemeentebad was in de zomer van 2011 niet beschikbaar. E&D wodt vanuit het dorp bezorgd. Omgeving: veel mogelijkheden (watervallen in Irrel/Kordel...

Goede doorgangscamping, gemakkelijk als je Trier en Echternacht in 1 dag wil bezoeken. Plaatsen zijn vrij te kiezen wat door sommige Hollanders nogal breed wordt benut, caravan en auto op 1 plaats en dan gewoon de schotelantenne op de plaats aan de overkant om betere ontvangst!
Sanitair is goed maar douchemuntjes zijn nodig.
Heel rustige camping.

Ein sehr ruhiger sauberer Platz an einen Fluss zum angeln, entspannen und wandern. Direkt an der Grenze nach Luxenburg.

In juni op deze camping gestaan, hadden prachtig weer. Rustige camping, misschien in seizoen iets drukker in verband met vele vaste plaatsen. Redelijk sanitair, prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Mooie omgeving!
