De stortplaats chemisch toilet en afvalwater is beneden elk peil.
Men moet met de hand het aluminium deksel met een diameter van 100 cm verwijderen van de put voor het legen van het campertoilet- en waterafval. Vervolgens kan men hierin met zicht op en de penetrante geur van het afval en de vliegenoverlast, de eigen toilettank/cq afvalwatertank legen. Ook zijn er naar mijn mening te weinig watertappunten op de camping. Het systeem van de douches was te vaak uit orde. Om onbegrijpelijke redenen werkten de warme douches lang niet altijd.

Hoewel het met kleine letters op de voorwaarden staat vermeld, is het achterhaald dat men alleen contant kan afrekenen. En dit allemaal op een 4 sterren camping.

Wir waren eine Nacht zur Durchreise auf dem Platz. Verkehrsmäßig günstig gelegen; Autobahn, Schnellstraße, Eisenbahn. Der eine kann nicht schlafen den anderen stört es nicht; das muss jeder selbst entscheiden.
Sanitäreinrichtungen sind nicht wirklich sauber. An der Rezeption bekamen wir den Eindruck, dass man als Kunde stört.
Für eine Nacht ok. Längere Zeit würden wir nicht dort bleiben.

Very large, flat site with very little shade, beside river. No marked pitches. Easy access and suitable for larger vans. 16 amp hook-up, metered. With ACSI card, 4 kwh per day allowed, then 55 cents per kwh. Boxes locked so you cannot monitor your usage. WiFi expensive.
Toilets, laundry, dishwashing at one corner of site, so could be a long walk. Good standard. Water taps in various areas, but waste water disposal, toilet emptying and refuse disposal only at MH service area behind reception. Dongle for barrier which also operates showers, must be pre-loaded. Many seasonal/permanent vans. Restaurant.
Roads on 3 sides so intrusive road noise.
No English spoken at reception at time of visit (May) and no information available on river boats. Site information leaflet in English. Bus timetables on board at site entrance.
Credit Cards NOT accepted.

Een mooie grascamping. Goed onderhouden grasmat. Het warme water was gloeiend heet, dus oppassen. De damesdouche's waren niet schoon en het sanitair was verouderd maar niet slecht.
Supermarkt op loopafstand evenals het stadje Schweich. Goed fietsgebied.
Wij komen zeker nog eens daar terug.
